3 year old grade mare 14.3 hands. She is the first c**t our fabulous assistant Taya has started and she did a great job putting a solid foundation on her! Piper came to the ranch 6 months ago and lives outside in herd environment. She gets along well with other horses and is a sweet mare with a gentle personality. She goes around nicely on a loose rein at all gaits in the arena, and has been ridden outside a few times. Piper is a very athletic quick footed little filly! WCRT Retreat Recap: We just wrapped up our first retreat at the ranch, what a wonderful week!! The retreat started with an evening wagon ride with a beautiful charcuterie board and wine.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were full of trail rides, delicious food, a yoga class, massages and exploring the local area. We said goodbye this morning hope everyone had safe travels getting home.

Picked up this cutie today! Taya has been working at the ranch for a year now. She started as a high school summer intern and has been working hard to learn how to bring a young horse along. We decided it was time for her to have her own project! This filly will be for sale early spring 2025. Stay tuned as Taya gets her started under saddle! We are so excited to see what these two accomplish. Thank you to Jaime Risner for the opportunity to make this project a reality!

Happy Birthday to the one, the only !!! Sarah is the glue that holds Willow Creek Ranch Horses together. You’ll find her giving lessons, doing all of the behind the scenes office work, answering phone calls, planning events, training the occasional outside horse, and above all else always taking extra time to help anyone that might need an extra hand. You’ll never catch her in a bad mood- she always has a smile on her face. She is the most selfless and caring leader and we are so lucky to call her our Horse Program Manager!!!
