As the celebrations begin, keep your pup safe and comfortable with these simple tips:

1️⃣ Create a Safe Space: Set up a cozy, quiet spot away from the noise. Add their favorite blanket or toy for extra comfort.
2️⃣ Skip the Midnight Snacks: Human treats like chocolate and alcohol are a no-go for dogs. Stick to pet-safe goodies!
3️⃣ Leash Up Outdoors: Fireworks can spook even the calmest dogs. Always use a leash to prevent sudden escapes.
4️⃣ Drown Out the Noise: Use white noise, calming music, or a TV show to help mask the sound of fireworks.
5️⃣ ID Up-to-Date: Ensure your dog’s ID tag or microchip info is current, just in case.

We have a Foster worked out. We want to get to know Miles a little and have him neutered before we look for a forever home. But if you are interested in adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our web site cvbmdc.com if you haven't.

We are looking for an experienced foster for a petite 1.5 year old male Berner named Miles.

Requirements:

- fenced in yard, no wireless fences
- no young children
- must be able to travel to Woodstock GA for vet appointments
- no chickens or other small animals
- no unaltered female dogs
- able to foster now through approximately February
- comfortable fostering a dog that may have accidents in a crate if left alone for too long

Participants need to be in the staging field no later than 1:45 PM. The road closes so the parade can promptly start at 2 PM.

Please bring water and water bowl

Festive attire is encouraged - please do not dress as Santa. He is already participating in the parade.

The Story of Milo
Yesterday was Milo’s 3rd birthday and we’ve had Milo since he was 8 weeks old. He is neutered and is up to date on his vaccines. He is around 61-65lbs. He has a brother who lives in Mt. Pleasant, SC and does well with him and the Bernese mountain dog the owner has. This makes me think he is good with other dogs. Milo is a good dog and needs a family who can love him and have the time for him. He is a sweet, happy dog and it breaks my heart taking him away from our boys, but it’s definitely needed and he deserves to be happy. If interested text Ana @ 843.259.3692. 🎄Christmas Parade Update! 🎅🏻

Thank you for your patience on this year’s Christmas Parade. Due to the Helen parade being moved to nighttime, we decided against participation and began a search for another parade.

We are happy to announce that we have finally been approved to participate in the Kennesaw “A Day with Santa” Christmas Parade!

🗓️ Saturday, December 7th at 2:00pm
📍Main Street - Kennesaw, GA 30144
🗺️ Meeting Location & Time Detail to Follow

If you would like to participate in this year’s parade, please send a message through Facebook messenger with the following information:
