šØšØPLEASE WATCH IF YOU OWN A DOG. THIS MAY BE THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU RECEIVE!!šØšØ
This is a rant about the falsities surrounding dogs and dog training.
The dogs in this video are Hoagie (Dutch shepherd) and Kade (German shepherd). Kade came to me with a lot of fear and aggressive behaviors. Just as a little background info to help this rant make sense.
If youāve been told these falsities before by a professional in the industry comment down below what they said and how things turned out? Iām genuinely curious.

This is hours after the most recent post I made where I introduced the ecollar to Kade in regard to his aggression towards Hoagie. If you havenāt watched it, watch that first or else this wonāt make sense.
Look at Kade, look at his body language, look at his emotions and understanding of what to do and not to do.
Hereās the undeniable proof that what I do works. The proof that not many other trainers can showā¦
Enjoy!
Okayā¦ here we go!
In this video I introduce the ecollar with Kade, in the form of punishment in regards to his aggressive behavior towards other dogs.
I show and explain the times I use it.
I explain why and how I use it.
I explain in depth and with logical reasoning why punishment works and debunk all the myths around it.
I show and talk about how some people/vets/trainers will say ecollars are the devil and all they do is cause pain and fear and should never be used. That itās cruel and ineffective and there is massive fallout and trauma from the dogā¦.
I SHOW, (keyword here is show, because the people I mentioned above that hate ecollars have nothing to actually show because they are all talking heads and donāt actually train dogs), I SHOW exactly why the ecollar can be very beneficial and that Kade makes improvements because of it.
Please watch to the end so you get the full experience and explanation. If you comment how awful and terrible this is and only watch one minute of it, or see the word ecollar and just lose your mind, then your opinion is immediately null and void.
Also please share this. I hope it breaks the internet because people need to see and understand this and how it works so that more dogs like Kade can be saved.
Also, I already have footage that Iāll post soon of sessions after this one, that again show and prove that Kade is fine and learning and getting better because of this!

My favorite āonline trainerā thing that is said and for some reason widely accepted.
āDonāt rough house play with your dog, itāll make them more aggressiveā
If youāve been watching my series with Kade, youāll know that he came to me aggressive.
And somehow this type of play is making him less aggressive towards me? š§
Hmmmā¦ why is that?
Please donāt believe everything you hear and see online. Most of it is trash. Think for yourself and use your common sense. Do you think my interaction here with Kade is going to make him more aggressive?
The headache of filming dogsā¦
I look back at it and laugh though! š
The way he doesnāt have a care in the world and is just dancing around with the ball at the end. Gotta love it haha š

Small little āhiccupā with Kade. This was immediately after the awesome session we had outside which was highlighted in my last post.
Luckily everything worked out nicely and we move on!
I bet no dog trainers would show this because they donāt want to look bad. But here I am. Being honest and transparent š¤·āāļø
Guess Iām not a good trainer because I donāt have dogs doing flashy things in a heel position or talk to the camera about āmethodsā and gain lots of followersā¦

Day 4 with Kade.
Had a bit of a breakthrough moment!

First sign of life in Kade! š
A lot of peopleās go to course of action when dealing with a reactive dog is to either try and befriend it and give it cookies, or punish the hell out of the aggression with use of heavy handed aversives.Oddly enough, neither of these are the way to go. Itās important to DIAGNOSE where the behavior is stemming from and setup your training plan accordingly from there. Imagine a doctor diagnosing you with heart disease when actually you have A brain tumor. They setup a treatment plan to fix heart disease and then wonder why youāre not getting better. Itās because theyāre addressing the wrong problem. The training should look at understanding where the behavior is coming from and fixing the root cause of the problem. Not the behavior itself. This dog is acting aggressive towards people/dogs/objects out of fear. Heās so scared and worked up that even if I try to stick my hand out to give him a cookie, he will likely bite my hand or jump back and bark out of fear.If I set him up to aggress towards me and then punish him and suppress him for doing so, I would only validate his fear towards me because that would be our first and only interactionā¦So instead, I take my time. I allow him to adapt to his new environment. I show him that there is no reason to be afraid of me. (Not bribe with cookies and food) and build a relationship around trust and fun. Until then. We walkā¦we sit aroundā¦ we co-exist in a non conflicting way, until he shows me heās ready to go to the next step.
