I give you: a super boring video of me singing to Evie. And you know what? They never get old to me. I'm still damn proud of what I've built and the grooming experience I'm able to offer your baybays. No dog should be stressed and uncomfortable during grooming. More and more of my peers are opening their own one on one grooming businesses and I couldn't be more proud and happy for them! (that'll be a different post for a different day. This is about Evie now.) This baby girl never wants to leave her parents but she does EXTREMELY well for her groom while she's stuck with me. I have such a thing for Milo. He's literally perfect for every second of his service and he's sooo handsome. He makes drop off a little dramatic but to be honest, most dogs do. I can give them all the love and reassurance in the world, but they'd rather go home with their owners than hang out with me (most dogs. I do get those wild ones that are like "Chilling with April today?? Alright!!!!) But rest assured, I treat all of your dogs like my own, if not better!! (If that's even possible.) Dude. This is Crash, part Pomeranian and part Papillon. She's never been to a groomer's before because her owners take excellent care of her at home. I won't lie though. A few things to talk about! I am in my new shop!!! Yay!!! I will share the address with anyone who has or makes an appointment. I just don't feel the need to put it out there unless you need to be there. I'm still and will only ever be by appointment only.
Which brings me to my next ***SUPER IMPORTANT*** piece of info to share. As of July, I will only be working 4 days a week, for a multitude of reasons. The biggest being I'm developing what can only be carpal tunnel because I've been going hard not only grooming dogs the past few years, but 13 years of grooming humans hasn't helped either. I've neglected my health to be as accommodating and helpful as I could but I'm done with that. Sorry not sorry. I've burnt myself out and there are days that I'm not really feeling the appreciation for it so I'm first now. I'm sure you'll all understand. If not, ✌️
I cannot urge anyone enough to rebook if possible. (Heck, Kim and Sherry have booked to the end of this year, so you guys are the GOATS!!! ❤️❤️) Sure when I first started out, I could schedule within a week or so. But at this point, I'm staying steadily booked 3-4 weeks at a time. Alot of people around here are used to a "no appt necessary" state of mind when you just wake up one day and say "Oh. My dog stinks. Time for a groom." Then expect me to have time within a few days.
