About Jaclyn Landers, CPDT-KA, founder, head trainer:
Ever since I was a little girl, I have adored every kind of animal. I was able to go to college for Zoology and Wildlife Conservation and had the opportunity to work as a zoo keeper. While I enjoyed being a zoo keeper and working with exotics, I had a tugging on my heart to dive into the behavior and psychology of domestic animals. I got a job at a local animal shelter back in 2016 and was able to work my way up to being the Behavior Coordinator while I went to school for Canine Training and Behavior. After graduating, I tested for the certification exam and received my CPDT-KA (certified professional dog trainer- knowledge assessed). I am very excited to now have my own dog training business! Not only is training dogs my passion, but I love getting to watch the communication, understanding, and bonds strengthen between the owners and fur babies!
