🌟✂️ Meet Judah the Shih Tzu, a dapper little gentleman showing off his new look! ✂️🌟

Judah came to us for a fresh clip, and we were more than happy to oblige with a stylish, low-maintenance pet cut that's as cute as it is practical. No need to choose between manageable and adorable!

We started by making sure that Judah's proportions were properly balanced while removing excess length in order to prevent mats and tangles and to keep from weighing him down.

We tapered his legs to subtly add interest to his shape and we tidied his beard and sanitary areas to make sure that he stays neat and clean throughout his daily routine.

This cut was specifically designed to highlight Judah's natural good looks while maximizing comfort and ease of maintenance.

West Highland White Terriers are known for their bright white coats, deep chests, and sturdy builds. Originally bred for keeping mice and underground rodents away, Westies tend to be energetic, playful and brave.

Mia is wearing the classic Westie Cut. While this cut accentuates her natural beauty, each element serves its purpose. Her short and tight body keeps her cool and allows for easy movement. 🐾✨ Puppies Puppies Puppies! ✨🐾

Today was a special day at Pet Aesthetic as we welcomed five adorable puppies!

Introducing your puppy to grooming at a young age is very Important. It's crucial to help them establish a comfort level with the process, sounds, and environment, making future visits a walk in the park!

For their first visit, we recommend a Mini Groom. This includes:

Gentle bath with puppy-safe products
Soothing hot towel wrap
Brushing and nail trim
A light haircut, if needed
Lots of cuddles and belly rubs!

Getting your puppy used to grooming early on is not just about looking good (though they do look adorable!), it's about their health and wellbeing. Regular grooming keeps their coat healthy, nails at a comfortable length, and helps spot any skin issues early.

Rough Collies, with roots as Scottish sheep-herding dogs, are famous not only for their ethereal beauty but also for their sharp intelligence and gentle nature.

This happy guy is Yukon, a Bernese Mountain Dog. Large and powerful, the Bernese Mountain Dog is as famous for its striking good looks and calm, affectionate good nature as it is for it's extra-large size and hardworking capability.

Double coated breeds like Bernese Mountain Dogs also benefit from regular grooming. Trimming the outline of their topcoat while leaving intact their insulating undercoat and tidying up around their paws add a refined look to their otherwise handsome and rugged appearance.

Yukon also received a de-shedding treatment, which removes excess undercoat. This debulking of the coat can contribute to a smooth, sleek appearance, better comfort for the dog, and significantly less shedding around the house!

With such a contagious smile, Yukon is always a pleasure to have!

This dapper little gentleman is Walter; an adorable example of what is known as a Powderpuff Chinese Crested! Unlike the hairless variant, Powderpuffs are known for their soft, silky double coat.

Walter is wearing a variation of the Pony Cut - a fun grooming style that adds an extra dash of charm to his already lovable appearance and personality.

:🐾 Meet Dolly, a stunning example of a Wire Fox Terrier! 🐶✨

The Wire Fox Terrier has a rough and wiry coat that requires some special maintenance. First, a bath using a strong, specially formulated shampoo without any added conditioner.

Then, to maintain the harsh outer coat, hand stripping is needed.

This grooming technique is not just about looks; it's deeply rooted in maintaining the unique characteristics of terriers like Dolly.

Unlike clipping or shaving, hand stripping involves removing the dead outer coat by hand, preserving the wiry texture and rich colors that define the breed while encouraging the growth of a new healthy coat!

It may take a bit more time and patience, but the results are absolutely worth it! And the aptly named Dolly is quite the doll indeed!
