Terry wanted a Malinois for years after researching the breed we brought Mally home. She has been an amazing addition to our family. So smart and loyal.

Mal inspired my love for the breed. We hope to have our own litter of maligators in a few years.

Day 2 of the LRDTC Scent Work trial! Mally had a pretty good day. She only qualified 4 out of six searches today but, they were pretty good ones! First place in Novice Exterior, a first place in Novice Container, another qualifying search in Novice Container, and 1 Second place search in Buried. She is working on her Novice Elite Tiles. The next trial we will add Interior Searches. This will really be pushing her comfort zone. We won’t know until we try. We will see how it goes. For now she said she is ready to get back to disc! I am so proud of how Mally was able to cope and adjust this weekend. She has decided to add Mollie Gaffney and Poppins to her pack. She watched Mollie’s back all weekend and adores Poppins! Mally Mae is one amazing girl! ❤️

Mally isn’t the most social Mal. She washed from service work when she decided to flip the Malinois switch and be a protection dog. She can’t seem to turn that switch off often. We work on it pretty much weekly. She gets very anxious when there are to many people around her Mom. That being said I could not be more proud of the way she worked through things today! We went to the Little Rock Dog Training Club’s Scent-work trial. She qualified 5 out of 6 runs. One container search was a first place! She went on to qualify twice in Exterior, finishing her Novice Title. Then she qualified twice in Buried, finishing that Novice title too!! By the end of the day her anxiety started to peak but, she was able to push through the last search. She didn’t bark, growl, or push anyone all day. She did lay across my legs a few times to keep people off but, was never ugly. She makes my so very proud!!!

We would like to introduce Jenna! Jenna is a rescue. She is such a sweet girl! We have high sporting hopes for this girl. She is definitely a hunter. We are excited to see what else she likes. We are giving her a few days to settle in and then will get all her vetting done.

Alexis Brewer brought Up Dog to White County K9 Academy last night. Mally loves it!! She placed in 3 out of the 4 games. We are pretty excited to play again on the 3rd. I will add her certificates tomorrow. Wait until you see Havoc’s pics!!

We have made the very difficult decision to place Mercy. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. We will be very picky where she goes. Low drive and needs to be introduced to other dogs slowly. 4 years old. Very food motivated.

Mally and I started our AKC Spring Scurry. We got 1 mile in today. Working toward that Fit Dog Gold title!

Mally at the NADD regional in Longview, TX! Even tho she was to tired to hold both ears up, we could not be more proud of our problem child. She loves the water games and her very favorite is Air Retrieve. She came in second place with an 18 ft grab, earning her a National Invite!

A lot of people wouldn’t see this as a win but, we certainly do. We have struggled with Mally and her disposition since she was a year old. I entered her in Crazy 8 in the Inola Barn Hunt to see how we are progressing. We didn’t qualify but, she wasn’t ugly to anyone! She is starting to get a bit more relaxed. (Look at her tail and ears) She didn’t bark/growl at anyone. She didn’t spend the entire 2 min circling my chair to keep people away. This is huge progress!! We did a lot of socializing and playing Games while we waited on the others to run. If she started to feel a bit overwhelmed we went to the car for more games and kenneled down time. Taking this girl out of her comfort zone and I could not be more proud of her this weekend. Mally is such a great dog!! Wouldn’t trade her for the world!! The others may be easier but, she is still AWESOME!!

Havoc went to his very first Barn Hunt in Inola, OK this weekend. He did great!! He earned his Instinct and Novice titles. Clearly Mom needs to work on not panicking but, Havoc is awesome!
