Here at Winn Creek Boxers we feel that a mixture of American & European Boxer bloodlines produce a great looking and healthy Boxer, and we currently have Boxers from both bloodlines.

Wow, what a weekend for our boy, "Maverick", at the Tarheel Labor Day Cluster in Raleigh, NC. Maverick was shown sparingly in 2023, this was his first weekend out this year and he was on 🔥

🐾August 29th, with the Fayetteville Kennel Club he went WD (Major win) under Judge Gary Andersen
🐾August 30th, with the Alamance Kennel Club he went WD & BOW (Major win) under Judge Sharon Smith
🐾August 31st, with the Durham Kennel Club he went WD (Major win) under Judge Jeffery Moore
🐾September 1st, with the Raleigh Kennel Club he went Reserve under Judge David Peat
🐾September 2nd, with the Cary Kennel Club he went WD & BOW under Judge Rick Gschwender

I have made the hard decision to place my girl, Salsa. She is a retired show dog that had two gorgeous litters for me (one of which produced Tychee & Maverick). Salsa is 4 years old and so beautiful---pictures don't do her justice. She lives up to her "Guardian" status and is always the first to alert us to someone on the porch or in the driveway. Salsa loves to sleep in the bed or on the couch with me and even if I get up 3 times in the night to go to the bathroom, she will stay put and wait for me to return, so she can snuggle back up.

It is always difficult as a breeder to place a retired dog, and this is no exception. It hurts me to do it, but I know it is what will be best for her in this stage of her life. Salsa was my first AKC Champion and the first dog I showed in UKC all by myself to their GCH title. She is a special girl to me and deserves to be treated as such in her new forever home. Salsa has great results on her health clearances (DM, Echo, and Holter), is up to date on her immunizations, and has been spayed.

Salsa will do best in a household with a non-dominant male or as an only dog. She will not be placed in a home with another female dog. She has never been around cats so I can't speak to how she would act around them. I will only consider experienced Boxer homes and would strongly prefer it be with someone I know or someone that they can personally vouch for. It will have to be the perfect home, I am not giving her to the first person who asks about her, and she will come with a rehoming fee.

Vizier (new name is now Kincsem) talking smack to her daddy, Pyrois. Her new owners will have so much fun with this spitfire! Such a confident little pup. 😁 Maverick in the background pawing frantically in his kennel trying to get a random piece of kibble out from under his primo pad. 🤣

4 of the pups from the "V" litter made their way to their new homes on Saturday. The girls are not quite sure why there is less chaos, but decided that they could just make chaos of their own instead (Vizier & Voivode). 🤣😂
