"Reba"-Female Dalmatian. Brown spots-8 Years old-Microchipped
Last Seen: Missing from 20th St and Chatham Dr- last seen in fields by Camp Hill Prison headed toward Cargill Factory.

**UPDATE** - 9/23/23 - For "Reba's" safety and to keep her from leaving the area, please Do Not Foot Search and Do Not Call Out to her and Do Not Chase. Any of the above actions can cause a scared and panicked dog to do things that can put them in jeopardy, like darting into traffic, etc.

If you see her, do not post sightings to social media, but call ASAP with time location and direction travel. Real time sightings are critical to get her back home safely. Thank you.

It is with mixed emotions that we share the decision of selling our farm. Over the past few years we are so grateful for the people we’ve met, lessons we’ve learned and most importantly the animals we helped along the way. Happy National Black Dog Day! This day encourages the adoption of a dog in the darker shades. Unfortunately, black dogs are less likely to be adopted for no other reason than their coloring.

After a few short day hiatus we would like to report that Romeo is doing AWESOME and is back to his regularly scheduled shenanigans... This is including but not limited to: stealing our child’s food, wrestling with the dogs, sitting on our pizza, sleeping where he isn’t supposed to, and knocking things over and breaking them.

Things sure were quiet while he wasn’t here. We are SO happy he is doing well and thank you for all your kind thoughts for his speedy recovery! 🐯🐾

Wow! Thank you Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance for saving sweet Hazel. No dog should have to spend their final days in a shelter. ❤️

What better way to celebrate the anniversary of America’s freedom than to give a freedom ride to this super sweet, 15 year-old girl who was dumped by her owner at the high kill Philly ACCT shelter. Hazel was slated to be killed this morning. CPAA’s wonderful foster mom, Heidi, who has a heart for seniors, stepped up to foster Hazel. That’s the only reason Hazel is alive—because Heidi opened her heart and home to help this sweet girl.
Hazel is severely emaciated and dehydrated, her hair is falling out in clumps, and her nails are so long that they are curling into her paw pads.
Hazel will be a hospice foster and will live and love the rest of her time on this earth with Heidi, no matter how long that is. Hazel could not be in better hands.
CPAA will be covering all veterinary and other expenses for Hazel. Hazel is currently at VRC in Malvern for a full evaluation. We will keep you posted.
In the meantime, be like Heidi and SAVE A LIFE! FOSTER!!

Every year, the days leading up to and following the 4th of July, shelters everywhere fill up with animals frightened by fireworks.

While I honestly wish fireworks were never used, that's something that will never happen.

Currently, many shelters are at maximum capacity and there's no room to house anymore animals. While some shelters claim to be "no kill", don't be fooled, EVERY shelter has to make difficult decisions.

Please....beginning July 1st, put a phone number on your pet. You don't have to spend any money. Grab some tape duct tape works great and a sharpie or a ink pen and make the minimal effort to keep your pet from ending up at a shelter.

Even if you think there's no way they can or will escape your property, just do it.

If you love your pet(s) it's your job to protect them.

Finding a stray animal with a phone number makes it SO SIMPLE to reunite them with their owner.

Let's make a difference this holiday and keep animals from ending up at the shelter.

Please spay/neuter your pets.

Avalon is still available for adoption through Furry Friends Network. Avalon is such a great dog. She is just over a year old and an all around awesome gal! She would be really great with an active family. She’s very friendly, has an awesome personality and really gets along with everyone. At the end of the day, she’s ready to be your cuddle buddy. She likes to sleep close or dig her way under the blankets.

Wouldn’t Avalon be an awesome dog for your family!? 🐾

Please keep our guy, Romeo, in your thoughts today. This morning he ate one of the dog’s anti inflammatory medications out of their food bowl. These medications are toxic to cats, especially at a weight based dose for a dog. He’s currently in the animal hospital on IV fluids and activated charcoal. He will be spending the night monitoring his organ function. He is one of the most active members of the Pack and we sure miss him while he’s not feeling well.

This is a PSA to be careful with medications. People medications are not necessarily safe in animals. Some medications that are safe in dogs, are toxic to cats and vice versa. Medications are broken down differently in each body type. Please check with your vet before administering any medications to your furry friends.

Please welcome Avalon, from Furry Friends Network! Avalon is coming to hang out with our crew while she waits to be adopted.

Avalon is 10 months old and has had a tough start at life. She was locked in a cage on a porch and nearly starved to death. Despite her rough start- Avalon is a super sweet, young pup who loves to play. She is great with other dogs. As you can see she loves rolling around outside with her canine friends.

Today is one of our favorite days! NATIONAL RESCUE DOG DAY is proudly observed annually on MAY 20 to bring awareness to the countless number of amazing dogs in shelters around the country who deserve a second chance at a forever home.

Rescue dogs are truly remarkable! They overcome extreme obstacles and are incredibly resilient. They make wonderful family pets and a child’s best friend.

Dogs are love in the purest form and it is hard to imagine a more loyal, worthy companion.

If only we could share more photos of the many rescue dogs that have touched our lives this past year. 🐾

Please help welcome April! April came to hang out with us over the weekend. She was found as a stray in West Virginia and was taken to a local shelter.

So far we know she loves to play with other dogs and toys. She listens well and is working on learning commands. April will soon be available for adoption through Furry Friends Network!
