Hi lovely clients! I am promoting small businesses from hanover and beyond. If you have business cards, please bring them in at your next grooming appt and I will display them. URGENT! My friend, Jacki Melton, is missing her dog, Yoshi! He got out last night around 9 pm in the Studley Farms area. Yoshi is a super sweet old dog that's hard of hearing and has cataracts. About Me!

Hi! I run Nikki’s Local Grooming Service out of my home in Mechanicsville, VA. I am a one-on-one groomer and by appointment only. What does this mean for your dog? It means your dog will have 100% of my attention and will NEVER be in a cage. My home is a good environment for your dog because it is a home and not a vet or grooming facility with loud clanking cages and barking dogs. I genuinely care for dogs, have a connection with them and working with them is my calling.

Before owning my own business, I was a Project Manager in Marketing and worked for Corporations as well as Agencies. Prior to College and Marketing, I worked with dogs in the roles of Vet Tech, Groomer’s Assistant and Doggie Daycare Attendant for many years. After becoming a mother in 2017, I realized it was more important than ever to be able to be on my own schedule and tend to my family. We acquired custody of my step son in 2018 and We welcomed another son of our own in July of 2019. We now have 3 boys total! I have been grooming for a few years now and this is exactly where I want to be! My dream is to open a local dog kennel that offers boarding, grooming and doggie day care. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of my clients and their owners and am excited to meet many more of you!
