It's with great sadness we announce that effective Tuesday, June 27th 2023 we will be closing our doors.
It is a quite a jarring shock to all of us here at the playhouse, but also inevitable in a sense. We love and will miss you, and hope that we've done a lasting service to your wonderful puppies. To our existing registered fur-friends, you are welcome to make reservations up until our closing date on the 27th so you can get in your last goodbye kisses.

For now, our Grooming Paw Spa is still up and running and available for appointments at 541-500-1037.

This page will remain up so you will always be able to view the good times had here at the Playhouse.

Friday was a party!🎂🎉Lots of new friends were made!🥰 We had Hero, Daryl, Rocket, Rosie, Lily, Fergie, Milton and Ruby! In a smaller group, Milton got the always hyper Ruby’s energy out and really kept her focused on him while we had the bigger group with our newer and shyer pups! Daryl really blossomed once his BFF Rosie arrived and showed him that it was okay to tumble around with the rest of the furry ensemble!🐶🦴 Fergie was totally up for some floor wrestling and toy-tag while Rocket the referee constantly would check in with his supervisor Lily to make sure all puppy sportsmanship was up to code😤 And lastly, Hero really helped everyone feel cohesive and constantly in motion for the whole day, cementing a longtime friendship and trust with one another! What awesome doggies!💪✨

What a great group this week!🐶✨Rosie, Hero, Milton, Zandy, and Reggie all were so active and speedy as they played tug and chases each other all day! We had Hero meet Rosie and Zandy for the first time this week as well as welcome our new friend Reggie for his first day!🎉🍾They all blended together seamlessly and became bonded in their good-natured play. Spring is definitely looking to be a blast!🌸🌺🌷

Our *Doggie of the Month* for May is Wilson!🍾🎉🎊 We LOVE Wilson here at Pickles! He is has never had a problem with a single dog - big or small - that he’s met. Wilson wins over every fur-friend within minutes of meeting them and is incredibly emotionally intelligent! He’s down to play anywhere, anytime - all without overstimulating his puppy pals and really letting them lead with their preferred play-style. 👍A great mix of goofy and good-natured, Wilson is also a cuddle bug and demands pets and positive reinforcement to make sure he’s being the best boy. Honestly, Wilson just seems like he’s always enjoying life and the new experiences that come with it everyday, and that positivity is truly infectious. For all of his sunshiny personality and puppy duality, we warmly say: Good Boy Wilson!🐶🥰👏🦴

What a happy group of dogs! Rosie, Milton, Ruby and Mabel were super energetic and playful with each other! I had to bribe them with so many treats to get that first shot of them on the play structure. 😅 SUPER adorable pups though, they were all very kind to each other and had a great dynamic play-style wise. Can’t wait for another fun day like this!💪✨

What insta-friends we had this day! 🥰 Scout met Rosie for the first time during this visit and really loved play wrestling with each other! Milton really liked this grouping too, but I love getting pictures of the d***y faces he makes all the time too lol 🤪

This day was such a blast! On this particular playdate, it was Hero’s first time meeting Ruby and they really kicked it off! All three pups were awesome rough-housers, but you can see the exact moment in the day where all Milton wanted to do was take a nap😴

Our *Doggie of the Month* for April is Ruby-Rose!💐🥳Ruby has made leaps and bounds during her last few visits! She is truly a rocket in dog form - which is awesome in a playroom environment, but also a little intimidating for new, nervous puppy friends😅 HOWEVER! With consistent behavior training and exercise from her amazing parents, Ruby has greatly improved her friend-making skills!💪✨Ruby is always down to roughhouse, never tiring of a good toy-tag or tug-of-war. Ruby is also a belly rub fiend, always demanding your utmost attention in whatever is happening during her stays; with how mushy and loving she is, we honestly don't even mind!🥰An insistent and perpetually happy friend, we recognize and acknowledge the hard work and efforts this battering-ram of a dog - and her owners! - have put into managing and mitigating her energy levels while letting her be her true puppy self! We look forward to seeing this wiggly pup again soon, and for all of these massive improvements and reasons, we are proud to say: Good girl Ruby-Rose!🥳👏🍾

We’ve sure had one busy week! Lots of different playgroups everyday, but always fast-paced and ready for the silliest of pictures! Here’s our group for Tuesday: Milton, Bella, and Wilson! Milton has been fantastic with adapting to all play styles this week depending on his fur-friends and this group was no different! Gentle enough for small Bella to join in, but rough enough for Wilson to really stretch out his leg muscles💪✨Tuesday was also the first time Bella and Wilson have ever met, and if the pictures are any evidence, we would say they were instant BFFs’🤞Wilson has also been amazing at doggie body language and knew immediately what little Bella needed from him in order to be her spunky self and make a new buddy! Such an awesome group💞

What a variety of lively pups we had yesterday! Milton really got our big girl Luna shell and bouncy! He was also very respectful of our fun granny Lily and really set the tone for Luna👍 So much so, that when we introduced Copper to her, she was very gentle and well mannered to her small gentleman friend!🥰✨

Our *Doggie of the Month* for March is Rosie!🎊🥳 Rosie has been a great addition to our larger playgroups lately! She always gets along with everyone, actively seeks out friends to play with and is such a cuddle-bug! 🐞🎀 We always enjoy her peppy attitude and that huge smile forever present on her face.😁 Rosie is a bit of a toy-hog, but that just makes her that much more fun to chase and gets her fur-friends eager to catch her and exercise! For all these lovable reasons, we are energetic to say: Good Girl Rosie!🌹✨

It’s a BOYS’ DAY!!!🥳🎊 Rocket really fit in with our two rambunctious boys Milton and Kobe on Monday! Kobe has also been a SUPER good boy with our littler doggie-pals lately, always gentle and willing to get on their level to play!

Our *Doggy of the Month* for February is Kobe!🎉 This pooch has been extra amazing leading up to this honor. He's really come out of his shell since his first day and is the BEST boy for welcoming newcomers to the daycare! We're especially impressed with how gentle and tolerant he is of out littler playmates like Bella and Rocket. He always gets down to their level to play and actually let little Bella climb on top of him while he was sleeping last week!😲 Truly a thoughtful soul and friend to all! For all these amazing reasons, we have the pleasure to say: Good boy Kobe!🦴🐶

Bella’s first day! Kobe did fantastic with her, she couldn’t stop chasing him around!🐶🦴 We also had Skye again, who thought Bella was her baby and insisted on sleeping in the same doggie bed as her!🥰
