Our hens are really amping up the colors as we start moving into the slow season! They've been almost identical in color all year, and all of the sudden, we're getting spots and heavy bloom! So fun! 😂😍

The garden is winding down, but there's still lots of pretty color! It felt good to get out there and do some cleaning up while enjoying all the flowers this year gave us! 🥰

A decent little harvest this morning! First batch of green beans, a couple more cucumbers, a yellow squash (them and the zucchini are finally starting to produce! Yay!) and our first pepper! Plus a pretty bunch of flowers to decorate the table! 😁

We're enjoying seeing how long the asparagus beans are growing! They're supposed to grow up to 3 feet long! Ours are currently about 18" or so. For how short the vines are though, I wasn't sure we'd get any! 😂

Garden is doing pretty good! We've had some struggles with overspray from the neighboring farmer's field and something that we think is downy mildew. But we hopefully have that under control and will continue to enjoy a harvest. 😉

So far, we've gotten several cucumbers and a small strawberry harvest! Lots of promising fruits growing so we'll hopefully enjoy a good year this year! 🙏😉

She's being such a good momma! Princess is not nearly as friendly as her mom, so I thought she might move them.to another secluded spot asap. But she's keeping them where we put them and also being more friendly to us! 😁

Our (hopefully! 🤣) last litter!

Princess had her babies this morning. 😉 Some really neat colors in this bunch! The white ones look like they may end up as 1 light orange and 1 white with gray points! It’ll be fun to see if they change into those as they get older or stay white. 😁

Two grays. I was excited about that because everyone that contacted me wanted the gray one from the last litter! Hopefully, these will be just as popular. 😉

A black one and the last one is a tortoiseshell...Black and orange. It'll be fun to watch them all grow and see how they change!

She had them on the ground in a cramped, hidden spot in our garage. We moved them to a towel-lined box where they'll be safer and more accessible to us. So far, she's laying there licking them so hopefully, she'll leave them there and not try to find a spot that she thinks is better. 😉

These little ones are ready for new homes! We have 2 fluffy black and white kittens, 2 black ones and a gray one. The black and gray ones have shorter fur while the black and white are going to be a bit fluffier with medium length fur! All very cute! 😉🥰

All w**ded and growing well! Now to spread the deer repellent when it comes... We saw a deer munching on our corn as we pulled in the driveway the other night. 😡 Other than that, everything seems to growing well so far!

Sunflowers are so neat! Even as small as these are, they're already following the sun! It's hard to see in the second picture, (especially since I need to w**d... 🤦‍♀️😂) but the whole bed of them are all facing west! So neat!

We put in a "family day" on Saturday, working together to get the garden beds ready for this year. Some of them were pretty rough, but my guys powered through it for me and we have them all ready for the new season! 🥳😍 Thanks you, as well as all of them that don't have accounts. 😉

Finally got around to turning our pork belly into bacon and it is amazing! I only tried a couple pieces of the "plain" bacon and it was delicious! Can't wait to slice and try the maple pepper bacon! 🤤😁

One of the eggs we collected today had such a heavy bloom that it looked almost purple! As my three year old says, "Cool!" 😂
