Be sure to thank all your boarding barns this week!!! Thank the staff, trainers, the tractor for starting, the water that’s poured, the hay that’s given, etc!! I know prices are crazy and everyone pays for these things BUT during these extreme weather conditions, it’s just hard and everything moves slower! Lend a hand, ask if you can sweep, water, help feed, bring a coffee or hot beverage/food. If you can’t make it out, just a simple thank you to them is appreciated! Yes, they signed up for this and this is their job, but your kindness and grace to them will be oh so appreciated! 🩷🐎

Our favorites Miss Pia and Miss Mia were adopted recently!! Miss Pia was with us for quite some time!! All it took was for someone to meet her in person! The mother daughter duo came to look at a gelding and said “no mares” before their appointment…and then they laid eyes on the beautiful Miss Pia and it was end game!💖💖

Miss Mia went to the coolest lady just around the corner from us! Miss Mia was quite the “all arounder” and can’t wait to see their adventures!!!

Both are missed dearly!

Thoroughbred adoption program located in Medina, Oh is looking for farm help this fall and winter with summer staff returning to school! Must have thoroughbred experience.

Duties include:
🌀Up to 13 stalls cleaned - may be less if other help is working that day or horses were adopted out
🌀Turning out and bringing in
🌀Feeding breakfast or dinner
🌀Setting up grain
🌀Setting up hay
🌀Sweeping
🌀General farm cleaning/tasks

Requirements:
🌀Must be on time
🌀Know how to drive a tractor or willing to learn
🌀Able to keep farm tidy
🌀Trustworthy
🌀Task oriented

We are extremely flexible. If you can drive a tractor you can do stalls in the evening as long as you can handle horses and clean a good stall!

We may entertain having one person do stalls everyday and would need extra help for turning out, lunch hay, feeding dinners, during the week and then a full day on Saturdays including cleaning stalls.

Also looking for riders to help transition these horses into their second career! MUST have riding experience! You can even ride during the day while staff is here!

USED BLANKET BLOWOUT SALE, Saturday June 4th!! So many blankets from the adoption program that we just aren’t using here and have been in the program for a long time!! The money made from selling these blankets will go towards the cleaning of the ones we use!! Deal of a century with blankets ranging from $15-50!! More blankets than the photos are showing! Sizes ranging from 60”-84”! All blankets are sold as is! Some need minor repairs and most need washed!

Other items to be sold as well! Buckets, stall guards, insulated buckets, feed tubs, etc!

If looking for anything specific, please PM me and I can put aside, but will need payment to hold! Local pickup only or drop off near Twinbrook Farm!

Millie and I are on our way to New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program BBQ and to watch ponies jump big things!!! This time 3 years ago I was pregnant for this weekend and didn’t know it!! Thank you to Caroline Compton for holding down the fort with the adoption horses! Her and I were supposed to do this together but our weekend help schedules changed, so she stayed back to monitor!🥰🐎🐎🥰
