Romeow is something called a polydactyl cat. This is a genetic abnormality where a pet has more digits on their paws than normal. It is becoming more common in cats and more often seen in breeds like Maine C**n and Pixie Bob. In the first picture you can see Romeow has rather large thumbs on his front paws producing 2 dew claws. What a unique little guy!
