Adopt at Collierville Animal Shelter Friends of the Collierville Animal Services supports the programs of the Collierville Animal Shelter. through 3:30 P.M. with an approved application.

We are currently adopting out animals by appointment only Tuesday through Sunday 12:30 P.M. To fill out an application, please go to Pet Adoption | Collierville, TN and email it to [email protected]

Adoption fee is $50. Cash,

check, or debit and credit cards are accepted (there is a 3% convenience fee for credit cards). All cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, have been tested for FIV/FeLuk, have been microchipped and will be registered, and have received their age appropriate core vaccinations. The well-being of our animals is our primary concern and all adoption decisions will be made with that in mind.

Happy adoption day to Saint! This girl hit the jackpot with her new family. She now has three kids to play with! This family lost their previous Boston Terrier recently and they were looking for a perfect new pet. Saint filled their hearts quickly! Calling all lovers of sweet and affectionate big head chonks! Look at this guy! Dee is a chill, mid to low energy, middle aged guy. He goes into the play yard and plays for a bit, then wanders back to check in. He’s a leisurely walker and really just wants to chill with his human. Coming in at 6-7 years old and about 50 pounds, he simply wants to be your snuggle bug. He is calm and patient in his kennel. We do think this couch potato would do best as an only dog because he can be dominant with other dogs. It’s easy to meet him! Comment below and we’ll link you to our application. 💙

Happy adoption day to our adorable Bulldog boy, Cookie! Cookies new mom lost her previous rescue Bulldog about a year ago and she had been waiting for the perfect new dog to catch her eye. Did you know a microchip can save your pets life? No need to worry about a dog tag falling off or a collar slipping off your pet if they escape. Microchips are good for life and can be easily updated, if needed! All shelters and veterinary clinics have chip scanners at the ready for when they receive lost cats and dogs. Microchipped animals often get reclaimed and reunited with their owners within just hours, while a pet with no identification may stay in a shelter for days, or even weeks, before the owner is able to locate their family member. Stolen dogs are much more likely to be traced to their rightful owner if they are microchipped. Microchips are a cheap, effective, and easy way to ensure your pet will always be traced back to you!

Calling all Boxer lovers! Meet SAINT and PATRICK!

These cuties came into our shelter as strays together. They are super sweet and goofy! Patrick was emaciated on arrival, but he is gaining weight and a lot looking better! Both of these pups love to go outside for walks and sniff around in the yard. Patrick (the boy) especially loves playing with toys, while Saint (the girl) doesn’t care for them! Saint is 7 years old and Patrick is 10.

They can be adopted separately or as a duo. Both will be spayed and neutered.

Meet Duncan, a sweet boy who came to our shelter after his owner passed away. He was very sad and stressed when he first came to us, but he has opened up and showed his sweet side. Duncan is a very playful dog! He entertained himself for 30 minutes with this toy in the play yard. He’s a bit on the independent side! He is friendly with people but we haven’t had him with other dogs yet. He is a beautiful and unique boy with the best smile. He is potty-trained and walks well on a leash. Duncan would love to be someone’s companion!

Meet BENNY! This adorable guy is new here at the shelter! He is a 50 pound, male, German Shepherd Mix. Benny is a good natured, friendly, happy pup! He’s under a year old and he’s a people-lover. Benny enjoys playing but loves cuddling and being loved on most. His cute eyebrows give him a curious, inquisitive, and puppy-like appearance. He will be available next week after he gets neutered. BRANDY is our longest resident and she is still waiting for her forever home. She’s a mature 4 year old lady who loves to go on leisurely walks and chase tennis balls. She is heartworm negative and will happily relax in her kennel until it’s time for her walk. She’s such an easy and independent companion! That’s why she’s such a shelter favorite. But, it may also be why she’s still here. She has a wonderful independence that would make her a super easy companion, but this also makes her slow to connect to potential adopters. If you would love a dog who is not needy, who will be so happy just having a comfy home and sharing walks with you, BRANDY may be your match! We love her but would also love seeing her finally achieving the forever home she deserves. ❤️

Adoption update on Birdie (now named Nami). She was adopted from CAS about a month ago along with her 6 other siblings.

Her mom reports, “She’s doing amazing! She’s getting freaking huge, but still has that sweet little girl puppy face, she pretty much rules the house right now with my son, lol! She is soooo sweet. Like really the sweetest puppy and really good too. She gets into everything, but she’s really pretty quiet and is just a sweety who loves belly rubs. We are home all the time, my husband and I both work from home, and my kid is home right now so we pretty much all hang out all the time.”

GABRIEL, age 2, is the big man on campus! He was found free roaming but is totally on board with his new cozy indoor life. He enjoys patrolling the premises and keeping everyone in line. GABRIEL is affectionate but only on his schedule - when he’s done with pets, there is no confusion. He’s absolutely in charge.

Deer antlers are our dog’s favorite chews! They are long lasting, great for cleaning their teeth, help with bad breath, and they offer mental stimulation to keep the dogs occupied. Dee is giving a demonstration of how to chew on one perfectly. We always happily accept them as donations, too! ❤️

Velma was adopted from our shelter as a small pup, but she’s been returned due to her family moving. She is 8 months old, 35 pounds, and is a sweet and social girl. She deserves to find a new family who will love and cherish her. Her previous owner states that she is fully potty-trained and good with cats. She is a German Shepherd/Lab mix.

This is what Dee loves to do most- cuddle! If you listen closely you’ll be able to hear his faint snores. He is a great companion for someone who loves an affectionate, people lover dog.

Phoenix is such an adorable girl! Look at these chocolatey brown soulful eyes. Phoenix is a 40 pound mixed breed girl who loves people! She would be great for a family with older kids. She also has been doing well with other dogs,her best buddy is Hoagie! Phoenix has been with us for a few months now, and would love to find a home of her own.

ELTON, LIBERACE, AXEL, SABRINA, & OLIVIA are currently partying in our kitten bungalow! They are about 4 months old & ready to meet their forever families. Come on down while they are still kittens!
