Thank you so much for everyone that came out and supported us at Repticon Knoxville this weekend and who participated in the Run it reptile live auctions as well!! I had a great time hanging out with , **ie ! Yall made it a ton of fun! I also came home with some new additions this weekend-a created gecko from Gecko ju**ie, couple of D. diamantisis from , a MM A. geniculata, and several different slings from Snake eyes and Classic Jurassic! Had a great weekend and can’t wait to do it again! We’ll be in Longview TX for the first time this weekend with !

Have some sad but exciting news to share with everyone. As many of you may have known, alongside traveling and vending at shows, I worked full time as practice manager at BrownDog Lodge Veterinary . I’ve been there almost 18 years. While I’ve enjoyed vet medicine, Crystal Palace Exotics has grown so much that I no longer have enough time to do both so my last day at BrownDog was yesterday. My awesome employees threw me a party with some amazing Filipino food (thanks Char!) and got me this adorable doctor Build a Bear puppy. It’s so cute 🥰. I know the clinic is going into good hands with Char taking over and I now have more time to focus on my breeding projects, spending more time with my animals, and traveling to shows to see all you wonderful people. Thank you for all your support, I couldn’t have done it without all of you.

Before you say "ewww.... Or k¡Ll iT wItH fIrE"....
...I feel the same Awww feeling when I see a baby tarantula as most people feel when they see a newborn kitten. I "bottle fed" these tiny slings smooshed mealworms and checked them almost hourly the first few weeks in my care. I waited nervously for every tiny molt, and watched with raw hope and delight during every accepted meal. Much like Baby's First Steps, every tiny milestone is celebrated along the way.

My oldest tarantula is over twenty three years. Together more than half my entire life, longer than any other animal friend.

So please, before you tell me you'd smash it, rest assured I feel the same revulsion toward you as if you are announcing that you'd club a baby seal.

Please be kind to spiders. But also know that all you accomplish with harsh comments is to reveal an ignorance based on fear. Fears can be conquered, but ignorance is a choice.

Our next show will be on June 8th-9th at Show Me Reptiles Oklahoma City show at the Oklahoma fairgrounds!! Make sure to look for the pink tablecloths! Will have a huge selection of tarantulas and tarantula cribs and a few new scorpions! My mom will be there with me helping as she loves Oklahoma City! Make sure to say hi! Can’t wait to meet everyone there!
