Pretty kitty Lucy recently had surgery that resulted in stitches. To prevent Lucy from licking at her stitches while she recovered, Lucy's mom opted to get her a snazzy onesie. This allowed Lucy's incision to breathe, but also prevented Lucy from disturbing her incision site. An added bonus is that it makes this adorable girl look even cuter - if such a thing was possible. 😻

We want to take a moment to address an issue we know has been frustrating for many of you — our phones.

In May, we upgraded our phone system in order to better serve you. Unfortunately, the transition has come with unexpected challenges and a steep learning curve. We are working closely with our IT team, and fixing these issues remains our top priority.

We know how important it is to be able to reach us quickly when your pet needs care, and we are truly sorry for the times this has not been possible. Please know we share your frustrations and are committed to getting this right.

While we continue to work on improving phone access, here are other ways to connect with us right now:

• Online Chat - During business hours, our receptionists are manning our online Chat function on our website. Head to thepethospitals.com and click the "Chat now!" tab in the lower right to start chatting with one of our receptionists.

• Online Appointment Booking - We offer online appointment booking for all locations via our website as well. Head to thepethospitals.com, click on "Book Appointment" at the top, choose your location and either log in or create an account to book your appointment. Often times we have same day availability!

• Local Prescription Refills - If you need to pick up a refill of your pet's medication at one of our offices, you can fill out our prescription refill request form on our website here: https://bit.ly/RXRefill. You can also give your preferred location a call and choose option 2 to leave a voicemail. Our administrative team monitors both, Monday through Friday.

• Online Store - Our online store offers shipping to your home of your pet's medications, food and supplements. Head to our website, click on "Online Store" at the top, choose your vet's office, and start ordering. Our vets and administrative team approve requests, Monday through Friday.

We are deeply grateful for your patience, understanding, and grace as we work through these issues. Thank you for trusting us to care for your pets — it’s a responsibility we never take lightly!
