Pablo has been thru so much since being rescued 24 days ago. This senior dog was matted in filth & infested with maggots. His skin is still recovering. He had to have a stage 4 dental, with 15 teeth removed and oral fistulas (a hole where his canine tooth opens up into the sinuses). He has thyroid cancer, and the tumor can not be removed because it is too deep & goes into the thoracic area. He had to have surgery yesterday to remove a tumor on the inside of his eyelid that was rubbing his eye and causing pain. We are a small 501c3 non-profit rescue that relies on your kind donations to be able to say YES! to dogs like Pablo and provide the on-going medical care they need. Our vet bill balance is at $8,419 and this surgery hasn't been added in. The most stressful part of rescue, is trying to pay for the care and procedures these animals need, to put them back together again. Pablo deserves to live the rest of his senior life out in comfort. Sadly, it is thyroid cancer and cannot be removed because it is too deep into the thoracic area.
