House Update!
Well all of the side rafters are in. Now onto the middle ones! Thank you to my hubby for all the hard work!

House Update!
We have been busy the last few weeks. Perfect weather! We got all the beams hung, including the main center beam. Next will be the rafters. The middle section will have almost 11 ft walls and then go up to around 14 feet with it all being an open ceiling. The 2 sides (or lien to's) will be bedrooms and bath, laundry and pantry. Those will have 10 ft walls sloping to 8 ft.
Terry Johnson did this all by himself. Sometimes he amazes me as to what he can do! More to come!

Update on the House Build!
Well we finally got the floor down! The heat has been rough on us and lots of other things going on, but we did it this week. One step further along in this slow but satisfying process! Thanks Terry for all your hard work!

Well...we are getting ready like most people for the cold weather coming in. Generator ready, water lines wrapped, horses hayed and camper cozied up!

Sweatshirts, socks and throws are on standby!

SUNDAY WALK
We took our Sunday walk today and came across these flowers (daffodils)growing on the property. We will tell you a story about these someday soon!

Sunset from a few days ago. Today, I'm not even walking outside! Whew! That wind is something else up here on our mini mountain!
