I have a friend that is looking for a place to board a gelding. He is a good citizen and plays well with others. It does not need to be a boarding facility. A private barn would be good to. Kaukauna, Sherwood, Appleton area preferred. She is very good at doing chores if someone needed a hand occasionally too. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Selling this hay feeder. It is galvanized steel with heavy Gage steel meshing. The wood around the platform needs to be replaced but it is otherwise in great condition. It needs to be out of here this weekend. $50

It has been a tough week watching our boarders trickle out. The last two left today. The farm feels so empty. One more week and we will turn the keys over to the new buyers. I pray that they will feel as blessed by owning this property as we have.

Over the last 24 years I have had the privilege of owning High Cliff Quarter Horses. I have given countless lessons, trained countless horses, cared for countless boarder horses and made countless friends. I feel blessed beyond words by the experience. Now it is time that the facility be a dream come to for another family. On April 9th, Troy, Brady and I will be moving on! Thank you to all the many students that have allowed me to play a role in their journey. Thank you to those who have trusted us with the care of their horses. Thank you to those who allowed me to start their young horses and help their troubled horses. I am humbled and grateful for your trust and friendships.

The horses all have their heavy weight coats on, water hydrants all have an extra 6" of blanket insulation wrapped around them, hay rations have been increased... I think we are as ready as we can be -25 to -45 windchills that will be hammering the area for the next week or two. 😱

That annoying moment that the draft mares realize it does not hurt to lean on the electric fence with their heavy blankets on 😠. Now the fence is down in three places and they are happy as clams out in the grass pasture. Great...

I came home after running errands this morning to find all the mares laid out flat in their paddock. I could almost year the collective sign of relief that the sun was shining, its over 40 degrees and its not snowing sideways for a change!
