Work has officially begun on the new home of Double M Equine, LLC!
This includes an 8 stall barn, outdoor arena, round pen, and plenty of land for trail rides.
Work has just started and there is a lot of work ahead of us, but the frame work for the dream is laying its foundation!

It’s amazing what can happen in a year! When it comes to opening a new business, there can be a lot of uncertainty, especially when you start a chiropractic office that runs a little differently than others. I am excited to continue to offer slower-paced sessions that include adjustments, soft tissue work, and decompression. People seem to feel better faster with fewer visits when I take my time and throughly treat the area, and that is very important to me!
I also have new technologies in the office, including electrical muscle stimulation (e-stim) and therapeutic ultrasound. E-stim works by sending a current into the muscle that the brain interprets. This increases local circulation, improves muscle function, and decreases pain receptor firing. Ultrasound emits a high frequency sound wave into an area, which turns into heat energy. This heat reaches deeper than a heat pack and allows for quicker tissue healing, especially in old injuries that haven’t fully healed.
I hope 2023 brings another year of health, healing, and wellness to you all. For my patients, I am honored to be apart of your self care routine and I thank you for taking a chance on “the new chiropractor in town.” You’ve made 2022 an unforgettable year for me 💚

Massage is a crucial part of maintence for performance horses! Just like humans, those muscles that get worked hard can become fatigued. Sports massage is great way to promote healing, release tension, and get hands on with your horses to find areas where they may be struggling!
Double M Equine will be at Quincy Saturday! Offering limited full massages, pre, and post run massages! 🙂 appointments are limited and already filling up.

Spring/Summer appointment options:
Monday through Friday - appts start at 6pm. To be able to deliver quality massages to your equine partners, I have a limit of 2 horses per night.
There is no farm call, or additional charge, if you are within 30 miles of Mendon, Mi. Having more then 2 horses is no problem we will just have to split up appointment times.
*Friday night appointments are limited as we get into show season.
Saturday- limited availability as we move into show season.
** We will be offering massage services at various show locations. Be on the lookout to see where we are at to set up your pre/post run massages! Also offering full massages. Appts are limited!
Sunday- No appointments available.

We are in desperate need of some semi permanent barn help! Current position will be a part-time situation for the immediate future.
▪️Horse experience is a must. Not “I rode a horse at a friends once,” but more like, “yes I know how to unblanket and saddle.”
▪️Have to be capable of coming out at minimum three days a week, ideally five.
▪️Major duties include: catching horses, unblanketing/blanketing, spraying off legs/mud, grooming, saddling, and turning horses back out, occasionally feeding.
▪️Looking at 15 hours a week at bare minimum. Some weeks will be double.
▪️Need reliable, responsible, honest and somebody with COMMON SENSE. I can’t express this enough.
🔺 Do not inquire if you don’t own muck boots and overalls
🔺 It’s muddy everywhere. It’s dirty everywhere. This is not a job where you want your hair to be curled daily and your nails 2 inches long.
🔺 Horses have their own agenda. Horses are not always super cute and sweet. Person must be able to handle this with poise.
🔺 This work is EXHAUSTING. I mean full body physical exhaustion, mental exhaustion, occasionally emotional exhaustion. I need somebody strong enough in all three of these departments, every day you show up to the barn.
🔹 Schedule is negotiable and can change weekly if need be.
🔹 Rates are negotiable depending on somebody’s experience and availability.
🔹 Pay is hourly, W2 or 1099 is okay.
