Adopt Beau the Great Dane - Merced, CA

Tonight is the last post. Tomorrow, Bo Bo (Beau) will be put to sleep. His former family, specifically his generous Grandma, has put forth all the money so he can be out of his misery. His health has been declining rapidly.
I did not know him that long, but he is such a good boy. Beau was so good and permanently attached to me whenever I was home - even when I was not home, coming on all my errand car rides. I'd leave the car running with the cooler on. I'm pretty sure no one wanted a car with a big old Dane and my f***y pitty, Maya. I love him. My heart is broken. But honestly, I know it's time, and he's ready to go.

Good morning. Beau was diagnosed with osteosarcoma a couple weeks ago and sadly needs to be euthanized. His quality of life has taken such a severe turn from when we met him just a few short months ago. He lays on couch and doesn’t engage. He has stopped eating as of 3 days ago, and his water intake has slowed.

am sorry to need to ask but if anyone could help me cover the costs that would be greatly appreciated. This was not in our game plan. But we also learned he’s near 5 years old then originally said. He’s 11. And in Dane years - he’s had a long life. We’re sad but honestly glad to have know this true gentleman of a dog.

Today has been a hard day. The forever family that wanted me fell through - so I stay a little longer with my foster family ❤️ My foster mom is just happy that they did not take me and return me because adjusting is hard!
