🦃 Give Our Pets a Thanksgiving Feast! 🦃

Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and delicious food! This year, let’s make sure our pets at the Rio Grande Valley Humane Society get to join in on the festivities too! 🍂💛

We’re asking for pet-friendly Thanksgiving foods to give them a holiday meal to remember. Here are some safe foods to share:
Cooked Turkey (plain, boneless, and skinless)
Sweet Potatoes (plain or mashed with no added sugar)
Green Beans (plain and unseasoned)
Pumpkin Purée (plain, not the sugary pie filling)
Shrimp (plain and cooked, perfect for our feline friends!)

Donations of these treats will help us create a Thanksgiving feast for the hundreds of animals in our care who are waiting for homes. Drop off your donations at 227 Abelino Farias St, Mission, Tx 78572 and help make their holiday special! 🐾

Canned, frozen, and non-perishable items can be dropped off now, while all other items may be donated starting November 26. Thank you for your generosity and love for these wonderful pets!

Update
Dr. Valerius is doing well and on the road to retirement. While the office is only open for prevention and medication refills we cannot dispense controlled substances even if they have been previously prescribed. We can sell vaccinations EXCEPT the Rabies vaccine. Please email us at [email protected] for a copy of your pets full medical record or feel free to stop by Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM.
