Meet Cottontail

Meet Cottontail
Little Cottontail may only be part Maine C**n , but you wouldn't know it by looking at her! She has all the markings and features of a purebred. Beautiful soft long coat, big eyes - with visible eyelashes - and long pointy ears.

Her tail is so fluffy it looks like she could build a dam with it. She is energetic and loves to play.

Giver her a little ball on a tile floor and watch her go nuts! Cottontail still needs a little practice at socializing with humans, so she may be skittish at first, but she does great one-on-one in a room with one human to start with and is very food motivated.

Give her some snacks and she will roll on her back and beg for tummy rubs and then purr like crazy. She came from a foster home with lots of other cats and dogs, so she socializes with other animals very quickly and if she had a furry friend in her forever home, that would be ideal, but not required.

At six months she is already very big, even compared to her other littermates, so definitely invest in the extra large cat bed!

Meet Reign
Regin got his name for his regal and majestic features. He has a slender face, angular eyes and lion-like nose. While his coat is more on the medium side in length, his tail is big and fluffy and oh so soft. Reign grew up in a house with other foster kittens, and as you can see in his pictures, he is a wonderful big brother. Always doting on the younger fosters, grooming them and teaching them how to play. He's a very gentle and sweet kitty.

He does not need a home that is big, but he will need a home that allows him to roam freely as he does NOT like to be confined to just one room. He would do best with a furry friend (of any age) as he is very social with other cats.

He has also been around dogs of various sizes, and he is fine with dogs, as long as they don't chase him! He will need an adjustment period in a new home as he can be shy and skittish of new people, but he LOVES to eat and is very food motivated, so you can win him over with wet food or treats of any kind.

When he's not teaching the younger kitties the ropes or terrorizing the artifical plants, he loves to hang out near a window or sunspot on the floor.

Meet Mufasa

Mufasa is 7 1/2 years old, and wants a new home. She is healthy and a beauty. Mufasa has been moved around a bit and needs a quiet home where she is an only pet.

She needs to learn to trust again, so her humans will need to be patient with her.

We do not recommend a home with young children.

Meet Ashley and Asher

Ashley and Asher are ready for their next adventure! These beautiful Maine C**n mix kittens are already quite big for their age and grow bigger by the week. Ashley is very affectionate and will jump on your lap for pets. She is very curious about what you are doing, especially if you are trying to make the bed - watch out! she has lots of energy and loves anything that she can jump up and attack. Her favorite place to hang out is at the top of the cat tree facing the window.

Asher is a bit more timid. He will need a little more patience to adapt to new surroundings. He will time to build trust with a new human, but once he does is the sweetest and purrs so loudly you will think there is a car running in your living room. He's a "lounger" and he'll find a spot he likes and just chill all day. Then he'll come out at night a tear up the town! Ahh, kittens ?

They have both been around lots of other cats of various ages and temperaments. They also share space with three dogs - one small, one medium and one large - and they seemed ambivalent towards all of them. They have not had regular interaction with small children, so I would advise children over the age of 8 only. Neither of them has shown any signs of aggression or being territorial. Of the two I would say Ashley is the more playful, but together is a non-stop play fest.

URGENT CALL FOR HELP PLEASE

Meet Zoe who is about 13.

She’s a very sweet cat when she wants attention but most of the time she preferres to be hidden away in her bed and to herself (she has a cave like bed).

She’s never been around other cats so we’re not sure how she would react.

She does fine with the prior owner’s family Rottweiler.

She isn’t interested in playing with toys, but will play with a laser pointer.

Her food and water need to be in separate places or she will put all her food into her water.

She is overweight and needs to be on a low calorie/special diet.

She’s unable to groom herself, so until she loses some weight, she will need to be brushed and her bottom wiped with a baby wipe.

She is litter box trained.

She uses scratching posts/poles and is litter box trained.

Meet Big Fluff
Big Fluff is well named!! He is a wonderful 8 year old male, neutered, five/felv negative and current on vaccines. Big Fluff is sweet and a cuddler, he loves to be petted and tends to be a couch potato.

He had been diagnosed with diabetes at one time, and was on insulin for a while, he is now controlled with diet. B.F. gets along with other cats, how ever active kittens annoy him. He is truly a layer back sweet heart.
