💩What Your Dog’s P**p Is Trying to Tell You💩
Your dog can’t talk, but their p**p? Oh, it’s got things to say.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what to watch for in your pup’s “business” and what it might mean 👇
P**p Color Guide
🐶 Brown (normal):
Everything’s good in the neighborhood.
🟠 Orange or Yellow:
Could be liver issues or something they ate—call us if it keeps showing up.
⚫ Black & Tarry:
Possible internal bleeding—definitely call us.
🔴 Red streaks (blood):
May be from straining or irritation, but could mean something serious. Check in with us.
🟢 Green:
Could mean eating too much grass, or a gallbladder issue. Worth a chat.
⚪ Gray or Pale:
Possible pancreas or digestion problem. Vet time.
P**p Shape & Texture
💩 Firm, log-shaped:
Chef’s kiss. Ideal.
💧 Loose or watery:
Could be stress, diet change, parasites, or illness.
⚱️ Very hard & dry:
May be dehydration or constipation.
🌵 Mucus-covered:
Usually a sign of GI inflammation or irritation.
💬 With fur, grass, or weird things:
We love a mystery. Call a vet before your dog eats your sock collection.
📞 When in doubt, give us a call.
P**p may be gross, but it’s also one of the best health clues your pet gives you. (And we weirdly love talking about it.)
