NOLA Dog Sports Club is seeking other DOG CRAZY PROPLE to join us!

⚜️Socialize - Train - Compete⚜️ that’s us in three simple words!

Don’t let the “sports” in our name scare you, we do fun group dog walk (check out our pages, this weekend we’re going to Lafreniere Park!) which are also great socialization for your dog plus excerise for the humans & dogs. We also go to fun places like the dog friendly Port Orleans Brewing Company. In January, we are going to offer our first class, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) which is FREE to our members. Plus we once our club is approved by the AKC we will produce dog sports competition (meanwhile we are traveling to other clubs event!). ⚜️Dogs do NOT need to be pure bread or have “papers”, WE WELCOME ALL DOGS OF ALL BREEDS! ⚜️

The Lakefront is one of our favorite places to go for a walk, but driving down to the  Bonnabel Boat Launch can be inconvenient. A few months ago we discovered Clearview Shores Park at Clearview & the Lakefront. Honestly it isn’t much of a “park” (it’s a lot with two benches & a drinking fountain), but you can easily park your car on the street and access the Lakefront walking path. They did recently install a new drinking fountain complete with a dog drinking bowl. There is NO OFF LEASH DOG PARK at this location. It’s a nice access point to the lake to get those miles in for both the humans & the dogs.
