Final update!
We can't answer one email without 4 more coming in. There is no way to keep up with everyone. We don't want to delete the post so we have changed settings. There are more applications than we could have hoped for with dozens of people still emailing. We wish all rescue animals got this attention but understand that a non shedding purebred is almost everyone's dream.
We are trying to respond to each and every person who emailed or applied. Yes, we are being extremely selective because with this much interest we can be. Bam Bam is sure to be adopted at this point. Thanks everyone for your interest.

Also as a side note: Louisiana Law requires all animals to be sterilized prior to adoption. I'm sorry some of you don't agree with a puppy being altered at this age but it is a requirement for adoption. He will be 10 weeks in a few days. His mom has fully weaned him and he is with other dogs still learning manners and appropriate behavior. He's ready for one on one with an adopter and as we have posted we require a vet reference for another dog in the home so he will continue to benefit from appropriate dog behavior.

This precious boy is back available for adoption through no fault of his own. Our policy is to not hold puppies because unfortunately people commonly flake out and once again we held a puppy thinking he had the perfect home but despite his foster waiting around for hours today his adopter never showed or called. His back-up adopter was notified but unfortunately that family grew tired of waiting and adopted another puppy this weekend so this baby is now waiting again. We will not hold him again. Anyone who is approved to adopt must make immediate arrangements to finalize his adoption.
Bam Bam is 9 weeks old. He is a purebred Shih Tzu. He's absolutely precious. Adorable, friendly, and social. He loves everyone he meets and is affectionate as are most male pups. He's 3 lbs. His mom is 9lbs and his dad was 12lbs. He should be in between those two. Bam Bam has had two vaccines, he's had a perfect wellness exam, a negative f***l, been dewormed several times, he's currently on Advantage Multi for fleas and heartworms and he is neutered.
