Candler Strong Update:

We’re still here for you, Candler County, working behind the scenes! 💪❄️ This week, we helped a local family stay warm by providing heaters during this cold weather. ❤️ All made possible by Your support of Candler Strong!

Candler Strong has scheduled a hurricane clean-up for Saturday, December 14th at 8:30.

Many people have reached out about helping those who need help cleaning up their yard after the hurricane.

The Flower Basket was able to find a new location at 231 SW Broad St. The others have not been able to re-open.

📣 Candler Strong Update! 📣

It’s been a bit since our last post, but there’s a lot of hard work happening behind the scenes. Candler Strong has been here for our community through the tough times—supporting recovery from Hurricane Helene and the downtown fires—and we’re as committed as ever to helping Candler County stay resilient and strong.

With the holidays coming up, we’re exploring the possibility of food and toy drives for Thanksgiving and Christmas to help spread a little extra cheer. Stay tuned for updates on these potential initiatives, as well as ongoing relief efforts and community impacts.

HAPPENING TODAY!

Enjoy the beautiful weather out on the Lynn Family Farm!

Gates open at 9am! $10 Age 4 and up. Happy Halloween Party from 2pm until 6pm. Non-Scary costumes, vendor Trick or Treat, Candy Corn Maze as well as all our regular activities including Bouncehouse, Cornpit, Big Slide, steer roping, Duck Races, Barrel Train, Hay Ride, and farm games. Cool Kats Cuisine will be onsite with delicious food. Pumpkin Market will be open and everything must go!!
10% of admission and all vendor fees go to help the Candler Strong Fundraiser!
See you down at the farm!

Deputy Jason and his wife Tiffany have made it back to Metter from delivering needed supplies to NC today! We are so thankful for their efforts to help
make this trip possible.

Our Candler Co Sheriffs Office has partnered with the Bulloch Co Sheriffs Office to send needed supplies to NC tomorrow. Deputy Rigdon and Captain Slater spent the evening getting this load ready. Deputy Rigdon will join Bulloch County deputies at 5AM tomorrow for the trip.

Thank you Kevin Davis for providing the truck and trailer.
