Well … I really didn’t realize how hard it was to say good bye. After 33 years of grooming , my time has come to an end. I am extremely blessed to have been your groomer, I not only got to know your dog, but I got to know you .Many of us have shared life’s ups and downs , shared stories of our children and grandchildren . From your first dog to your fourth dog I’ve been lucky enough to be in your life.
33 years is a long time especially in grooming. Most groomers quit after 12-15 years I really loved every minute of my career . Yes, I’ve been bitten , hospitalized for a week from a bite… yet i never gave up on something I LOVED to do. Many of you don’t know the job I had prior , mechanical engineering . Yes after 10 yrs I walked away from that to start my first business TLC Groomers located in Fords off New Brunswick Ave. 4 years later I decided to go mobile. I never looked back 25 years later , Kipdogs came to be after a family dispute , but we kept grooming.
Your loyalty is deeply appreciated. Without you , I could never have achieved such a great career. My heart is heavy as Bob and I must close Kipdogs . We are now enjoying our retirement out in Lebanon Twp listening to bull frogs, watching deer , bear , coyotes snd bobcats walking around the forrest . Forever in my heart ….. thank you 🐾💜

So Christmas Eve was not very good , we had to help our man Dexter over to the Rainbow Bridge
He had a collapsed left lung and the right lung was full of cancer. We only had him for 4 years. But boy did we love him. He just turned 11 this November 5. He was super proud of his looks when his coat grew in from being cut down from rescue . One proud happy man and he will be so missed

This is a very strong warning to all those who have dogs and insist upon walking them with choker collar‘s instead of harnesses it’s OK to have a collar around the neck as long as it’s loose .but not for walking , running . This past Monday our Dexter boy who had been chained outside for 7 1/2 years by his previous owner had turned blue , we rushed him to the emergency vet he was in an oxygen tank and collapsed all of this due to having worn a choker collar The damage done to Dexter resulted in having surgery to make an air pathway on the left side of his trachea , he will eventually need to have the right side done so please if you love your dog , use a harness we almost lost our Dexter boy to some stupid idiotic person
I want to give an incredible shout out to Garden State Veterinary Services on route 27 in Iselin , their staff and Dr. Bellis treated Dexter with such love and unbelievable medical skills! they even sent me pictures while he was recovering

Remember, if you walk your dog or someone else’s , bring cool
Water for them to drink AND put on their feet. Dogs sweat through their feet. They don’t have shoes to protect them from hot sidewalk , grass and pavement. If you can’t walk on it , they shouldn’t either.
