Giulietta&Romeo rescue Spread the word and have your friends join me here! I'm not a 501c.I'm just an animal lover! ADOPT A PET DOG AND SAVE A LIFE! In the U.S.

There are so many unwanted dogs in the world that it seems right to me to help as individual in the rescue of dogs.It breaks my heart that many of these dogs will simply run out of time before a home is found for them, because a lack of exposure. This is a page where you can post pictures, links and info about dogs in need of a rescue or an adoption, as well as send bulletins requesting donations

for specific animals that are in need of medical help. Also a page that gives dog rescue organization and animal shelters, the opportunity to publicize their overlooked dogs for adoption. My intent is to help difficult to home dogs start new lives, give them a second chance. If just one person adopts a dog as a result of reading the info I have provided here, then a life will be saved and I will be happy! If you are an animal lover, chances are that at some time in your life you will want your own dog.Depending on where you live in the world, you could go to a pet store or dog breeder and get a puppy, not realizing that in every community, in every state, there are homeless animals. as a whole, there are an estimated 6-8 million homeless animals entering animal shelters every year...About half of these animals are adopted, and tragically, the other half are euthanized. These are healthy, sweet pets who would have made great companions. The number of homeless animals varies by state—in some states there are as many as 300,000 homeless animals euthanized in animal shelters every year. These are not the offspring of homeless "street" animals—these are the puppies and kittens of cherished family pets and even purebreds. So,before you go out and buy that puppy check your shelters in your local area and adopt a dog and save a life! Adopting a shelter dog truly means you are saving a life and forming a lifelong bond with a dog that needs you can be an immensely rewarding experience.Adopting a Shelter Dog can enrich not only *your* life, but the life of the special dog you take home.Shelters can be noisy, overwhelming places to visit. However, saving your best friend is such a worthwhile cause. People may not realize that abandoned, unwanted and neglected dogs and puppies can make wonderful companions and family pets. Remember – dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and breeds end up in shelters! PREVENT A LITTER - SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PET! Millions of pet deaths each year are a needless tragedy. By spaying and neutering your pet, you can be an important part of the solution. Spaying and neutering helps reverse the tragedy of pet overpopulation and improves your pet's behavior.

Miami- Up x adoption at Paws 2 Care Coalition
Hi friends, my name is Tini. I’m a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix and weigh 6lbs. Someone found me wandering on the streets and was kind enough to take me to a local veterinarian. My family was notified to come and pick me up. They said they were coming day after day, but they never showed up. Now they don’t even reply to messages. 😔 I don’t know what I did for them just to forget about me. Lucky for me, I’m now at P2CC waiting for a new home. I’m a sweet, spunky senior with a lot of life in me. I like to play with toys and go for walks. If you would like to meet me, please text Ana 305-525-3297 or email [email protected]

Hi Friends, my name is Susy. I’m a 10-year-old yorkie mix, and I weigh 7lbs. I’m a quiet, loving girl waiting patiently for my fur-ever home. I do want to share some medical information about me. I was hurt a few years ago. As you can see in this picture, my front right paw is twisted. I’m not in pain, and I’m ok. I can still walk and run. I love to cuddle and enjoy my human time. If you would like to meet me, please text Ana 305-525-3297, or you can email [email protected]

Pls HELP 🆘🛟

⚠️Graphic images 💔 Today, we saw heartbreaking images and a plea for help on Facebook out of Ft. Lauderdale & while it never ends and takes an emotional strain on us, knew immediately that we needed to help this girl. Time was of the essence. She had collapsed in someone’s backyard and we were told she had a neck injury. An extremely kind woman offered to rush her to our veterinarians office and we were not prepared to see this kind of wound on her neck. The injury to her neck is extremely severe & you can see veins 😞 What happened? We have absolutely no idea but we do know it has got to be extremely painful and also that humanity is failing. She is also extremely emaciated .. you can count all of her ribs, her spine and hips are protruding.. she has been suffering. She is currently receiving fluids, bloodwork and X-rays. She will remain hospitalized until further notice. We have reported her to Broward Animal Care & Control. Please consider donating to this precious girl that we’ve named NiNi, we need all of the help that we can get to help her. We are her voice!

Bred to Death:
Animal breeding leads to euthanasia!!!

Irresponsible breeders are mainly the reason behind the overflowing of animal shelters. They breed dogs repeatedly without regard to their health, do not care about the home the animal ends up in, and do not ensure the animal’s return if the new home does not work out.

Overpopulation of animals is a phenomenon when the number of any given species increases to an alarming extent and the ecosystem fails to support the survival of its inhabitants.

It is a pressing issue for the entire planet as the exceeding burden of overpopulated species create turbulence in the cosmic harmony of living things.

Animal “overpopulation” occurs due to many reasons: (1) allowing animals to reproduce with little to no chance of finding homes for the little ones, and (2) Owners abandoning pets because they no longer want them around. Pet ownership comes with great responsibility!

The failure to understand how a single litter of puppies or cats can potentially produce hundreds of offspring results in a terrible outcome of overflow and, consequently, animal euthanasia.

Animal overpopulation has definitely become a global crisis. There are simply not enough homes for the number of abandoned animals. As cats and dogs are domesticated animals, they can not survive in the wild or on the streets. They depend largely on humans for food, shelter, and protection.

The animals involved that are without loving homes are either forced to enter shelters or left on roadsides. A large number of pets are given up by their pet parents for being too old or too sick or because they could simply not afford to keep them.

Another reason for overflow is that people associate pets with the status symbol and prefer buying a true breed over animals adopted from the pound. This puts a lot of pressure on shelter systems.

Each day, an estimated 70,000 puppies and kittens are born in the USA alone. The number is estimated at 27 million each year. Tragically, millions of these are put down or euthanized due to overpopulation.

On average, approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter shelters every year. Only 3.2 million of these are adopted, and 1.5 million are euthanized because animal shelters can no longer sustain them.

Overpopulation of animals results in millions of pets being killed each year. The sad part is that it does not have to be this way. Animal overflow can be eliminated by 100% if all caretakers spay or neuter their pets.

Campaigns should be run to create awareness among people so that adoption is always the preference.

Innocent animals should not suffer the painful consequences of spending their whole lives in cages or being put to sleep when they are perfectly capable of living their life normally!

Animal homelessness can largely be avoided by adopting directly from a shelter instead of buying from breeders or puppy mills.
Adopt, don’t shop!
