Pets with brachycephalic (short-snouted) faces, like pugs, bulldogs, and Persian cats need a little extra care when the temperature soars. So, what can you do to keep your short-snouted pet comfy?

🦮Limit walks and playtime to cooler times of the day. Early mornings and evenings are your best bet.
💧Make sure your pet has access to fresh, cool water at all times. Portable water dispensers are great for walks.
☀️Seek out air-conditioned areas or provide plenty of shaded spots for your pet to relax in.
🧊Consider using a cooling vest or mat specifically designed for pets.

❗️Remember ❗️If your pet shows signs of overheating (excessive panting, drooling, lethargy), get them into a cool, air-conditioned space immediately and offer water. If symptoms persist, contact your veterinarian right away.
