Who We Are:

Good Boy Pet Care & Nutrition is a boutique-style pet food and grooming shop. We are relatively new, but are already building a strong following within the community and are ready to expand our grooming services. We are looking for someone who is passionate about animals and experienced in working with them to join our team!

Requirements:

· AT LEAST 1 full year of experience in grooming, or certificate of course study and some experience.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must (Portuguese is a plus) as our location will cater to a culturally diverse population.

· Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities/Day to day:

· Typical duties such as bathing, drying, cutting/styling, nail trims, Ear cleanings, a**l gland expression, sanitary clips, etc. In addition, you will be required to maintain your work area and all tools/supplies daily.

· If interested, you can also be cross-trained to work the retail side.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

· 2+ Years Grooming Experience, Best-in-show awards, Master Groomer, etc.

· Previous experience running/managing a shop

· Flexibility in job description; you may occasionally be asked to do something aside from strictly grooming.

Benefits/Perks:

· Flexibility! We are willing to work around your schedule, you can bring your dog to work, etc.

· Comfortable work environment; uniforms not required, choose your own music while working, we occasionally treat staff to meals, etc.

· We are a small family-owned business, very far from corporate. We are growing rapidly and this is a great opportunity for someone to grow with us.

Salary Info:

· Commission-based, though hourly can be paid for retail hours worked.

· Commission rate based on experience.

Salary: $20,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
