So which parasites are you apt to see in your pets p**p?
Usually roundworms and tapeworms.
Your pup or kitty can get roundworms from their mom, environment or from eating f***s from infected pets.
They can develop tapeworms by swallowing a flea that has the immature form or larvae of the tapeworm in it. This usually happens while grooming.
Roundworms can look like spaghetti and tapeworms like rice when alive and sesame seeds when dead. Sorry for that comparison.
It is a good idea to periodically have their p**p looked at by their vet.
There are other parasites they can get but these are usually diagnosed microscopically or via antigen testing.

Having to put a pet family member down is hard. Even harder when it’s your son’s 14 year old dog! So I sent him a message about his dog Luna and what she is telling him and his wife. ‘ A life well lived’ So Luna has always been a special friend since day 1. Now that she is facing a life ending issue she continues to let you know that she is ok with all of this. She, in spite of the bleeding, discomfort and I’m sure some pain, still gallops around while saying look at me. She is in her own way telling you hey guys, it’s ok. You have given me the best life a dog could have and I will continue to gallop around up in heaven and wait till we can all be together again. Don’t cry for me. Rather, just let me go and know that I am ready for the next chapter in my life. I will always be your shadow. Video is from 2 months ago.

We see and treat a large population of elder or senior pets. Some of our natural protocols have given us the opportunity to address the basic needs and wants of the elder pet and here at our practice they are never forgotten. All too often the issues elder pets face are too often categorized as normal for their age. Well, we work to change those thoughts as we believe that elder pets deserve the same care and merit as young pups and kittens do.

In addition we offer video otic scoping ( ear scoping ) for those pets that have chronic ear issues that never seem to improve.

We believe in a Holistic Vaccine Protocol tailored to your pets needs,habits and health status. If we address and inform on the things you need to know when your pets are young then we believe they will be around for a much longer time. Although we strive to see new clients in a timely manner, we do advise that previous records,results and x-rays be sent to our office prior to your pets’ consult. Complete histories are important in determining if your pets problem is one that can be helped and resolved by our Doctor and staff. So yes, we do the things that regular veterinarians do but in addition we specialize in a few other modalities that when grouped together may help keep your pet remain a family member for a long,long time.
