It's 2° and feels like -17°. . . The sunshine is welcomed yet deceiving.
Bella on a short walk - Boarding
Lola, Huntress of Stink Bugs
Just relaxing after hiking and playing.
The Friday afternoon chill hour.
Kinley & Archie - Boarding
Archie loves chase and catch games and when his ball went under the couch, he figured out how to get it without my help. So smart!
Archie - Vizsla - Boarding
It was a beautiful day to hike with Kinley and Capone.
Kinley - Mini Bernedoodle - Boarding
Working with an eager to please puppy is incredibly rewarding.
Roman - 17 weeks old - Puppy Camp day 8
Capone - 5.5 years - Supervisor
Even I am impressed. . . 17 week old Roman is holding place while a wonderful Mom Maid team member mops the floor. Well done Roman, well done!
I am thankful for Mom Maid cleaning every week so I can focus on training dogs.
Heel foundation with 17 week old Roman in Puppy Camp.
He's the hoppiest doodle in the Midwest. Oh, the things I could accomplish with an ounce of his energy. . .
Chasing snowballs and an accidental selfie, eww!

Diesel - 8 months - Stay 'n Train
This afternoon I had the opportunity to work with Britta's focused heel or "Fuss" command. She likes to drop her head when turning and when starting forward movement, so that was my primary focus.
Britta - Training Daystay
🎶 When the weather outside is frightful, training inside is delightful . . . 🌬❄️❄️❄️

Ringo *was* a leash puller on walks, but that is in his past. Today we took all his new skills and tested them in his own neighborhood. He did so well and I'm so proud of him.
* Please excuse the filming quality. . . It is difficult to manage a dog, a leash, a camera, and rewards. : )
Ringo's recall is becoming quick and reliable.
Reba's recall is on fire, her leash walking is going well, and her stationary commands, well, those remain a work in progress. :) This girl does not stop moving unless tethered to me or crated. In fact, she's tethered to me while writing this and she's absolutely content and 100% chill.
See comments for photos.

The dog play yard is complete!
We began this project on Independence Day and finished on Labor Day. All that's left is for the grass to grow.
Huge thank you Jamie Peck for all your hard work, this space for the dogs and me is beautiful!
Thank you Turkey Creek Tree Farm & Garden Center for beautiful greenery. If you haven't already, check out their butterfly tent, it's pretty amazing!
Baxter could splash in and out of the lake for hours. He's a machine!
Molly loves to play in water. While in Puppy Camp she is learning most water is okay to play with, but water bowls are not. ;)
