We are needing help to get this guy out of the shelter tomorrow.
And praying all our lovely supporters can help.

We had posted for a foster for this sweet but very scared boy named Blake.
And since we had our transport today one of our fosters said they could make room for him.

Even though they still have foster dogs, they worked it out. 🙌

Seeing that no one sent us any new foster apps we coordinated a few things and decided we'd get him tomorrow (Thursday)

Blake has been so scared and when we met him we knew he needed out.

We also have a little back story on him. He used to hang out in an area just outside of town for the last few months.

He would come and go and when the school crossing guard was present, he'd come visit them and sit with them 🥹

And then when they left he'd just go back to his usual life on the streets living a sad and very lonely life 😪
Until one day he found himself in a loud scary shelter environment.

After finding this story out, we absolutely knew he needed us. To show him all the love and never be alone again.

So now we need to raise funds to help get him out and to our vet.
We will need $450
To get him more vaxx, rabies vaxx, 4dx, fecals, Convenia, Nexgard and Interceptor and then he'll need to be neutered in 2 weeks.

As you know we have a very high vet bill which pushed over 4k today 😟😧

We hadn't raised very much for our dogs who left today and two dogs were spayed this week.

Our heart puppy Lolly still has a large bill and it just goes on and on.

Anyway, we are hoping our fellow animal lovers and followers can help pitch in.

This morning we had a very tearful transport.
Some very special pups left our foster homes and headed NE to meet our partner rescues and their adopters.

These babies have been in foster care for several months.

Bruce was an owner surrender
A beautiful sweet senior left at the shelter by his owner back in Oct.
He was saved the day he was to be euthanized. By Midland Animal Shelter Adoptables and his foster David Holman and Pam.
His new family awaits him ready to give him all the love.

Boo who came to us after a tragic accident falling from a pick up truck and enduring horrible injuries, taken to our shelter completely broken so we rushed and got him out and to the vet.
Multiple surgeries later, he stayed in a medical foster home for rehab.
For five months, and today was his big day to leave for new adventures and meet his family. He has 3 doggie friends ready to greet him to.

Malia ended up in our shelter and sat for the longest time, then put on the euthanasia list but we got her out in time. She had a very old back leg injury that couldn't be repaired, but over time got stronger and turned into the funniest wildest girl. Just full of life. Now she's onto meeting her new family ready to check out her new adventures.

And sweet little
Shiloh Hunter and Hudson came from a terrible hoarding case and rescued by MASA and David and Pam Holman.
They learned to be new dogs and trust humans again. Quite the trio they are. But now going to new families. Starting a new life

We are wanting to help another shelter dog. And this poor guy is so scared in his kennel.

He's been available since the 13th and no interest. Once we met him he just laid his head on my lap shaking.
What's not to love about this beautiful boy?!

He is so sweet and so confused.
Weighs about 30lbs. Calm demeanor.

We'd LOVE to get him out
And into a foster home who can show him all the love.

Hi y'all
It's that time again 🥹
We're here to show you these sweet babes who are the next round of lucky puppers to head outta Texas in a few short days.

We have been working hard on helping these precious pups find homes and preparing them to head NE to our partner rescues and adopters.

It has taken alot of planning and working alot of things out to get vetting done, making sure certain dogs are cleared medically to travel.
But we made it.

An extra special pup has waited 5 months to make this trip. After a terrible traumatic accident, Baboo (aka Boo Bear) is completely healed, and will be meeting a very special family ready to welcome him into their home.

All these amazing dogs have so many stories of a life they previously lived. Failed by their humans, some dumped at our local shelter almost being euthanized but miraculously saved.

To finally getting to leave WTX and onto new adventures.
We are so grateful once again for this opportunity.

But as you know the final vetting can be very costly.
Our current vet bill is up to $3,816 😧😧

So we desperately need to raise funds for these sweet babies and help get our bill paid down.

Unfortunately the pup was taken to Odessa animal shelter.
Finder couldn't hold for us.

Looking for a foster for this precious little red heeler girl.
She's with the finder but they can only keep temporarily.

She was found in Odessa, no chip and no owners found. Just another poor pup fending for herself 😞

Hi everyone 🐾🙏

This is Michol.
Michol has been at the shelter for almost 3 weeks.
He was recently put on the urgent list and when we saw him posted we went to meet him.

We decided we'd try our hardest to help him.
One of our wonderful fosters said they wanted to help another urgent pup, which was perfect timing.

But as you know we need the funds to pull him because our vet bill is high and unfortunately we haven't raised not even a dollar for Jessi.
And her ACL surgery is tomorrow which is $2,700 😟

We can't save these poor dogs without funds to get their vetting done.

Nexgard and Interceptor

So we will need $350 to get this sweet boy out.
He just sits so quietly and patiently hoping someone would see him and we did.
We see all these dogs waiting to be saved. But we are so limited on space.

Our vet bill has to get paid at the end of each month and with THREE major medical dogs we are struggling.

🟢UPDATE🟢

Our vet did another exam on Jessi and she has a partial tear.
We have to wait about a month to go back for a follow up to see if it's healed.

Surgery won't be done at this time.
It's pending for now.

Hi everyone

Starting out our Monday with a big request.

This is our sweet Jessi girl
We pulled this girl in mid December. The day we pulled her she was going to be euthanized.

She is the best girl and so so sweet.
Well, over the weekend Jessi had a mishap which resulted in having to take her to our vet Saturday morning.

After close examination it was discovered she tore the ligaments in her back left leg/knee.

She started limping severely and her leg became swollen and she couldn't put her leg down or walk on it.

We aren't sure how this occurred because Jessi is a very calm dog and isn't high energy. But this does happen and she is going to need ACL surgery to repair the torn ligaments.

Her surgery is set for this Thursday.
We don't have her xrays yet but will post those as soon as we get them.

This comes very unexpectedly and right after two other major medical dogs.

The surgery is roughly $2,700 😪
We still have an outstanding vet bill of about $3,200.

So you can see our urgency to try and raise funds for her.

We wanted to help another pup in need at the shelter but not sure we will be able to.

We know this is going to be hard but we hope some how some way we can get funds raised for Jessi.

Jessi has a rescue up north so once she is fully recovered and cleared by our vet. She will be able to go. Her delay saddens us but very grateful we have an amazing vet who can get this done asap.

We have been so busy handling back to back major medical case dogs.

We haven't had a chance to share another beautiful shelter pup we pulled earlier in the week.

Actually we got her the same day as we did Halo.

This is Toffee 🥰
She was on the euthanasia list on Tuesday.

As we were there getting Halo out and rushing her to the vet.

One of our fosters asked if we could check on Toffee.
When we asked about her, we were informed she was on the Pre-EU list for that day.

When we found out we immediately tagged her. Got her off the list.
Once we got Halo to the our vet and got her admitted and started her hospitalization.

We went back for Toffee.
Once out, we got her to our vet.
Started her initial vetting

Rabies
Booster vaxx
4dx
Convenia and fecals.
She has Giardia so started on meds for that.
And she will be spayed in two weeks.
Plus got Interceptor.

With all the posting we've done over and over asking for donations
We were a bit reluctant to ask again, BUT donations are how we are able to help more pups in need.

Toffee grabbed our hearts. Seeing her so defeated in her kennel was heartbreaking.
Shocking no one saw this beautiful girl and wanted to give her a nice home
But, we are sure glad we got her.

So we know she won't ever be returned. Seems to happen alot.

We'd like to be able to raise as much as possible and try to reach our goal of $300 for Toffee.

UPDATE 🙌

Lolly made it through surgery.
This baby is such a trooper and we are so grateful to our vet and all the staff who made this happen.
Giving her new life and a stronger beating heart. ❤️‍🩹

Please meet our newest pup Lolly.

A bit of a story and quite the whirlwind we've had today.

Lolly fka Lorilue was pulled from our local shelter today.

After our transport today.
We went straight to the shelter and got her out.

She had been there 25 days. And yesterday she was on the Pre-EU list, but we managed to get her off of that.
We had an amazing foster to take her and decided she was the one.

Just a baby with no one interested in adopting her, we said nope she deserves a chance and didn't want her to be euthanized.

We always say God works in mysterious ways and for this extra special pup, we know why.

We got her to our vet to start her initial vetting, puppy shots and all the things.

When suddenly her foster who also works at our vet, noticed something very very different.

That's when it all unfolded.

You see, Lolly has what they call PDA - Patent Ductus Arteriosus
A congenital heart defect.

After several consultations, bloodwork, listening to her heart, xrays. It was definitely determined that she has it.

Lolly is just 3 months old, 13lbs
A baby that is so sweet. She doesn't understand what's happening, she doesn't know.
She's your typical playful adorable baby.

But Lolly will need surgery to fix what's happening.
It requires open heart surgery.

After hearing all this and taking it all in, we said yes of course we want her to have this.
She deserves a chance and well y'all know us, we don't give up on our pups.
It's all or nothing.
Lolly has surgery tomorrow morning at 8am.

It's a serious critical surgery and we are beyond grateful our vet can do this. And put her on asap.

After being abandoned as a pup, sat in a shelter for almost a month and then about to be euthanized, how in the world could we not do this!

We didn't ask the amount of surgery but roughly it's about 3k-4k

We are sure many will question our decision but if you know us, then you know us. And you know our hearts are all in for every dog we take in.
There is NO giving up.

After taking in Halo yesterday (she is doing better today)
And now Lolly we are definitely going to need help with our vet bills.
Which is already at $2,612

So we are asking all our supporters to find it in their giant hearts to maybe give a little bit for our sweet Lolly.

A little pup with a heart the size of Texas who just wants a chance to be the puppy she so deserves.

We are so grateful to her foster family for giving her all the love

We said happy tails to all these beautiful amazing dogs today

Once left abandoned and forgotten to making their way up north to find new adventures and meet their new families.

None of this is possible without our wonderful fosters. Always wanting to help another in need.

We were informed about a small injured dog who came into the shelter today.

She was attacked by a large dog.
Shaken and bitten in several places.

Her owner couldn't or wouldn't take her to the vet so they had ACO pick her up 😥
Just gave up on her.

Once at the shelter, they started reaching out for help. Asking rescues if they could help.

We immediately asked one of our small dog fosters if they were able to help and they didn't hesitate and said yes get her. 🙏

We rushed to the shelter and picked her up and got to our vet.
We were able to get her in right away as they said just bring her in.
Thank you Town and Country Vet.

During her exams we did also notice she recently had pups. We have no idea where they are at but pray they are ok.

She will be staying a few days for monitoring, fluids and pain meds plus antibiotics.
This poor girl we have named Halo is in shock. She cannot get up.

Xrays were done and so far nothing has been seen that is broken. She does have small rocks in her stomach, trash and will need alot of rest.
More xrays will be done again once she is better stabilized.

We just can't imagine what she endured but we know she's in good hands now and getting the best care possible.

We don't know what to expect but we do know we will do everything to help her. And make sure she never has to go through anymore trauma in her life.

So next thing is, to raise funds for her care. As we have no idea what that will be. We just wanted to help her. So she wouldn't be euthanized at the shelter.

He is finally clear 🎉🙌🙏
We've had him in and out of the vet so much, but we were diligent and kept pushing for him.

Many of these pups have waited and waited and now they are all ready for their new adventures.

Families excited and happily waiting to meet their new fur baby.
Our partner rescues are so happy to be able to help these amazing pups and ready to welcome them.

We are able to pull two dogs tomorrow that are on the urgent list and one of them Dotts was on todays euthanasia list.

But we worked and worked and had two amazing foster offers come through.

Balinda is so scared. She has stayed in her roll cage curled up hiding her face. She is so sweet though and just needs love and to feel safe.
We met her today and just felt terrible for her so we tagged her after one of our fosters sent us a text saying get her 🙌

Dotts came in after he showed up at someone's house, emaciated and just skin and bones. They weren't able to hold him so he ended up at the shelter. Not many people really noticed him
We watched for weeks in hopes he'd get adopted but sadly he didn't.
Then the urgent list hit today and we knew we had to do something to help these poor dogs, failed by their humans.

We rushed a plan together and got Dotts off the list (thank God)

But as usual and like y'all know
We need to raise funds to get them out.

Both are altered and had rabies vaxx but they still need more vetting done.

Convenia shots
Interceptor and food

So we can get them ready to go up north in a month. Which we are so grateful we have amazing partnerships up north to send them, where they'll find perfect homes.

If for some reason they are positive on anything they will need meds. We are experiencing alot of Giardia so we are praying for negative tests. And nothing positive on 4dx.
