It's happily ever after time again.
These five lucky puppers are now ready to meet their new families.
We have two seperate transports this coming week 🙌

Goldie
Haven
Annie

We had to get their HC'S done and a few needed their booster vaxx done and fecals rechecked.

Now we need help to get all of that paid for. And hoping all our amazing supporters will help us out. By sharing and donating any amount.

A $25 sponsor helps towards our vet bill.

The actual total for getting them done is $500 which is alot but now these pups get to head up north to meet our partner rescues and adopters.

UPDATE ❤️
He will have surgery Tuesday morning to clean the eye socket and also be neutered.
He got all his shots today. Had his ear cleaned. Tests are all negative
Put on antibiotics.
He's about 6 months old. The sweetest dog ever.
And we are extremely grateful to the kind people who found him curled up laying on the side of the road going to sleep 😭

He was attacked most likely by another dog. And lost his eye and had some ear injury
But now he's safe. And will be healed up soon. Whatever he's endured he still loves everyone.

We have a temp foster now and he will see our vet today at 2:30pm.
His name is Uno

We are going to need donations to get the eye socket cleaned up, and close it off, plus the right ear has a wound that also needs cleaned, have tests done him such as
4dx and fecals

He'll need vaxx and some monthly preventative.
And definitely will need some antibiotics to stop infection.

We are desperately looking for a temp foster for this abandoned dumped Aussie until next week after we have dogs leave on Transport. Until the 26th

Needs medical attention as it's missing an eye from God knows what. A fresh wound.

We are $150 short and our vet bill is still at $3,500. We have to get our bills paid.

Per our post yesterday looking for a foster for Aster.
God's work made it possible.

Today is the happiest day. The day we finally start her new life.
A broken hearted girl who came into Andrews, TX Animal Shelter Adoptables
Completely shut down. Became more trusting and learned not all humans are monsters.

She was then adopted. A week later returned. Failed again. 😪
When we learned of this we knew Aster needed us. Needed a committed family of rescuers to show her how great life can be.

We kept tabs on her and thinking how can we do this.

And now her dream and ours will come true.
We will turn her sad soulful eyes into happy one's.

We want to give huge thanks to the staff at Andrews Animal Shelter for seeing Aster through all her little troubles. Never gave up and reached out to us.

We love the under-dogs and will mend her heart like so many others in the past. She will shine.

It's Monday Madness 😦😕
At our local shelter in Midland, Tx

Sooooo many new dogs came in Friday and Saturday. One after the other. Many are OWNER SURRENDERS 😭

The new urgent list also just came out this morning and alot of dogs are on it
Adults and puppies.

We have a chance to save this little tiny who is about 6lbs.
She's all by herself and has been overlooked so many times.

We have been wanting to get her and well, today it happened.
This also opens up another small kennel for the gazillion pups coming in.

But we need help with funds.
Her new name is Brenna 🌻

We can get her today but need to raise $250
She also gets to go to our partner rescue up north late July 🙏🎉

So we need to get all the things done

More puppy shots (we have to order more vaxx)
Convenia
Fecals for Coccidia, Giardia and anything else.
She'll need monthly preventatives to.

‼️FOSTER NEEDED‼️
For this beautiful sweet girl named Aster.

Aster is at Andrews,Tx Animal Shelter

We originally were going to pull her but she got adopted.

We ended up taking another dog. Who was extremely medical named Kam. So that filled our spot

Aster is back at the shelter. Due to jumping a small 4ft fence.
She didn't run away and stayed close. However she is back now and we are saddened.

We want to take her. She's going to be on the code red list tomorrow (Tuesday) pending if Andrews stays full or is able to get pups adopted, and if other rescues can help. Which empties some kennels

And must be approved, live in Midland as our vet is in Midland.

And have a secure fence and home. Aster is great with everyone including kids. And other dogs.

She was very shut down when she first came in but has done amazing now.

And today we said happy tails and new adventures to four more lucky puppers.

Are headed to the NE. Traveling to meet new families and our partner rescues 💕

All four were facing euthanasia.

We are so grateful for these opportunities. To our wonderful relationships and able to find homes for our pups.

It does take a village. It does take work. Making dreams come true, one dog at a time.
So rewarding even when some days are tough. We keep pushing forward.

And of course none of this possible without our incredible fosters. Making sure they prepare each dog for new homes.

None of this possible without our amazing supporters believing in our mission. Our mission is to save the dogs we can and get them to their happily ever after.

Please help us welcome this sweet girl to our SDR family ❤️

After spending time at our local shelter yesterday. We saw so many dogs in need.

We were shocked to see Emmy (NEW name Emma) still there.
She was owner surrendered and we just new she'd get adopted. But 3 days after her available date here she sat.
Adoptions are low right now.

The shelter was filling up again so today after some coordinating we were able to get her out.
We had a foster who could take her. And with dogs leaving tomorrow it made room to save another.

Now we need to raise funds to get her fecals done, convenia shot, she will need another vaxx, Nexgard and Interceptor.
(We are also looking at helping more this week) 🤞🙏

Any amount helps tremendously and greatly appreciated.
We need about $200 to finish everything she will need.

❗️Midland, Tx Animal Shelter❗️

These two littles are together in a large dog kennel. Male siblings.
We want to get them out as the shelter is SO FULL.

Of course we are beyond full and have other pups we are trying to help. And our current fosters are so full.

We spent half the day at the shelter and seeing these two. It really got to us. They are so sweet yet so sad and just laid there hugging each other.

Honestly broke our hearts. So many beautiful animals there hoping for a true forever home.
