What is a RESCUE? A rescue takes dogs from local animal shelters who would otherwise be euthanized. If they have space available, they also try and take dogs who are living on the street with no owner.

What is a FOSTER? A foster is someone who takes a dog into their home to babysit for a specific period of time. The foster gets to play and love on the dog while they wait to be transported to their forever home. This is usually anywhere from 2-6 weeks. All it takes to be a foster is a loving human and home.

What is a TRANSPORT? A transport is something our local rescues set up to save dog lives. The local rescue works behind the scenes with rescues up north who have families ready and excited to adopt the dogs we send. On a preset date, the rescue coordinates the fosters dropping off their dogs, gathering their medical records and loading them on a special bus that will transport them to their forever home. It is truly lifesaving for dogs in our community!!
