Sarge, our beloved 12yr old Golden Retriever was a Canine Good Citizen, Certified by the AKC, and trained in Obedience, Beginning Service Dog Trai

ning, and Clicker, we miss him dearly. Justin is a local graduate of Midlothian High school with a Bachelors in Business from Texas A&M Commerce, an Eagle Scout, and a Graduate of Starmark Dog Training Academy with a Certification as a Certified Canine Training & Behavior Specialist. We offer a variety of services here ranging from private lessons to group classes to puppy programs to board & train programs. Our mission is to: Enhance You and Your Dogs Lives!

Not quite 3 years but this video might as well give a Hulk update:

It’s been 3 years since his accident Feb 2. We are down to maintenance for his adjustments every 6-8weeks

As you can see he’s still living life and acting like a mad man. He’s as good as he’s going to get our job is to keep him there.

Still works everyday, chases the big birds off the property is his main security job, and still enjoys seeing and freeing all his friends.

Even the Dog Trainer’s dog(s) need work. Here we are working with Red on Door Manners. Very important concepts for your dog to learn:
1. Don’t rush the door/dart out 2. Don’t jump on people 3. For you to be able to bring the groceries in and do what you need to do without being tripped.

Here we’re working 3 dogs. One is fully off leash, one we’re working on progressing to off leash and the other is new to training and is working with distractions today.

Here we’re working on confidence boosting/engagement with KG. He was a dog with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty when he came in.
Using the balance board can help with confidence, engagement, and trick training.
Ultimately, we like to try to get all 4 paws on and have the dog balance.

Crate training with Buford the Pyrenees. He has/had high anxiety and would do everything to not go in his crate.

Presenting our 2025 Spring Group Class:

This will be an action packed Group Class that starts February 25 and concludes Saturday May 26. Registration includes 18 classes, 1 Private Lesson (for new clients-must be done beforehand), Membership to Ward's Dog Training, Alumni Group Access, and Training Gear.
Classes will be Tuesdays will be 6:30-7:30pm and Saturdays will be at 9-10am. Classes will be held at Midlothian Community Park in Midlothian on Tuesdays and Saturdays we will bounce between Waxahachie and Mansfield.
