Today, Leo said goodbye to Little Darlings Rescue Ranch and Hello to his new furever family 💙🐾🐾
It was bittersweet for his foster mom, Sue Fecay Foley, who fell in love with this sweet boy. How could you not? He is the sweetest🥰

Leo has a new daddy, Bill Baldwin and sweet little sister, Gracie.💜🐾🐾

July 4th and surrounding days often cause a huge increase in missing pets. 💔 Here are some tips to keep your pets safe during the fireworks:

Set up a safe space in your home where your pets can retreat if they feel scared. Include favorite toys and blankets -- puzzle toys or long-lasting chews can help them stay distracted.

Keep pets indoors. Get that long walk out of the way before peak fireworks hours, and secure doors, windows, and pet flaps to prevent any escapes.

Consider using products like calming collars, anxiety wraps, or pheromone diffusers to help ease their anxiety. If your pet has severe anxiety, talk to your vet about possible medications to help keep them calm.

Update ID Tags and Microchips!! Make sure your pet's ID tags and microchip information are up to date in case they do get spooked and run off. And check out HSHV's tips for finding a lost pet: https://www.hshv.org/get-help/lostandfoundtips/
