Hi !! Just wanted to touch base with all my clients! As most of you know I have been dealing with some pretty major health issues and a very ill son, which has taken me away from my shop lately ALOT!! As I struggle through working bymyself, I am trying to get caught up with scheduling and phone calls . Please if you haven’t heard from me don’t hesitate to recall. I’m trying my best to get to everyone but at times there is just not enough time in the day! My apologies if I am not able to schedule some pets because of back restraints I’m hoping to resolve that soon!! Agin just wanted to tell everyone I appreciate everyone who has been very patient with my sudden life changes, I have the best clients in the world :-) thank you for all of you that are faithfully waiting for appointments Our family is struggling right now but all the kind words and the support that is shown to me every day helps keep me going :) and I just wanted to say Thank you to all my people !! As they say “this too shall pass”

Sorry for the inconveniences, but I had to cancel all appointments right now due to sickness. For those of you that know my situation, This is not Justin. He’s OK ! it’s myself. Hope to get back to work soon. Seeing a specialist Monday morning will go from there. Sorry for having to cancel. I would rather be there than where I’m at right now for sure :-) but I will return. :))

First day back to work in the New Year’s :-) glad to be back for a fabulous 2024 here at Rhinestone Clippers pet grooming :-)! Thank you to all of our clients and fur babies for all your patience and understanding, we have had a pretty rough December with people being out sick and some family emergencies as many of you know I have a very ill son, which is requiring me to be out of the shop Quite a bit, everyone has been so supportive and I can’t thank you enough this has been pretty rough on all of us. (I have the best clients ever 😍)And the answering machine was on overload, I could not replay any messages so if I have not got back to you , please call back and leave another message. My apologies. I hope everybody had a merry Christmas and has a very happy and healthy new year. Here’s to year 7 at Rhinestone Clippers :-)

Final update: this sweet girl has passed away. 😭💔 I am heartbroken and I am sure her owners are as well.
Rest in peace sweet girl. You touched my heart in the few minutes I spent with you.

Update: the dog is microchipped and an owner was contacted. The owners are on the way. The poor girl is critical, please pray for her!

Female German shepherd was hit by a vehicle on 1A in Milbridge between Kansas Road and Back Bay Rd. Dog is on her way to Eastern Maine Emergency Vet in Brewer Maine. If this is your dog, please go to Brewer and meet them there. Please share so we can try to find her owner!

These might look tempting because they’re cheap but the vet bill that comes along with it or cremation isn’t as cheap. Please pass these up this holiday and don’t buy them instead go to the pet store and ask for some good non-rawhide treat you be surprised they’re just as inexpensive. 

Tis the season to remember that these are a horrendous choice for your dog. 🎅 🤶

Rawhide can lead to intestinal blockages, choking hazards, and they're coated in chemicals.

A veterinarian in Brewer says she’s confident the mysterious illness affecting dogs across the country has arrived in Maine.

Hi everybody just a heads up this is a really good video from a well-known veterinarian about this canine respiratory disease that’s going around!Please as a reminder now that I’m starting to see clients again if your dog has any signs of any respiratory, sneezing, lethargy, nasal discharge, coughing, vomiting, no appetite. Please let us know. Do not bring your pet in for grooming, because they will be refused at the door. This is a highly contagious infection it also has been known to have cases in Bangor so this is among us unfortunately, Please don’t panic over this because there is a lot of symptoms that resemble just a regular kennel cough type virus, but it is always better if they show any signs to please have them evaluate at your vet to confirm that it’s not a illness that can progress to uncontrollable symptoms! Can’t wait to see all my furry friends in their families. I’ve missed you guys bunches. Stay safe.

Hello, just a little update thank you all for being so patient with me while I had to take care of some family emergencies hopefully if all goes well I will be coming back to work this week. I know everyone’s been doing their best trying to keep their pups Brushed out and combed out as much as they can so please be patient just a little bit longer and I will try as quick as I can get everybody in as they were scheduled!! Thanks again for your patience and understanding and also to everyone who has reached out to me with their wishes and prayers :)
