Javas Mini Doodles are just starting to open up their eyes...they are 11 days old so right on track....they usually open between day 9 and 15... we are on day 8 of their ENS curriculum and everyone is doing well...we will continue that until day 16...then switch to the next phase

All 10 of Finleys new crew are doing well also...the first 24 hours is crucial for these Neonates to nurse and get the Colostrum that is so vital for their health....we weigh them and monitor regularly to make sure they are getting what they need...many people ask if we have to supplement with a litter this size...the short answer to that is no we do not...the mom rotates them and handles it well...once you start supplementing you can create problems...her milk comes in with supply and demand...that's not saying if we had one failing we wouldn't do it but thankfully we have had big litters up to 12 and just watch accordingly...if we have a smaller pup we let a big pup nurse on a back ni**le first to bring the milk down and then put the smaller pup on that ni**le to get the nourishment...the back ni**les have the most milk so that's why we use those

Harper's pups are starting to open up their eyes...they will be fully opened in a couple days ! They are born with their eyes and ears closed...both open about the same time so they can hear and see a whole new 🌎 world around them
