On National Love your pet day, I want to introduce Jacob. My own little rescue. I’d never had a small dog before and considered them yappy and annoying. Then I met this guy and my suspicions were confirmed. 🤦🏻♂️ His previous owner was an elderly lady with her own medical issues and therefore unable to care for him. He was overweight, flea-ridden, had ringworm and hadn’t seen a doctor except for birth 5 years prior. He was also terribly anti social. Through the careful care of Dr Julia Carter and her staff, Jacob is now a happy and healthy boy and loves his new family and most everyone he meets. Especially if they have treats or toys.
