This morning, our beautiful doe Beau welcomed five healthy kits into the world! 🐇💞 We’re thrilled to announce that all five babies are doing wonderfully, and Beau has been an amazing mother so far, tending to her little ones with care and love.

It’s always such a joy to witness new life in the rabbitry, and we can’t wait to watch these kits grow and thrive. Stay tuned for updates as they open their eyes, grow their fluffy coats, and start hopping around!

Hey friends, I wanted to share a little update about our sweet rabbit, Beau. 🐰❤️

Recently, she had a singleton kit, and while we were all excited, it didn’t turn out the way we had hoped. Unfortunately, as a first-time mom, Beau didn’t pull enough fur to keep her little one warm, and it didn’t survive. 😥

It’s tough to see her go through this, and I can’t help but feel for her. I know she’s a great mom at heart! It’s a reminder that sometimes things don’t go as planned for first-time moms, and we’re all learning together through this experience.

Sending a little extra love to all the bun parents out there who understand these ups and downs. 💕

We are officially on baby watch!

About 2 weeks ago I took Beau in for an ultrasound to see if our last breeding session was successful. After what seemed like forever, the vet informed us there was no evidence pregnancy. Well... Here we are at what would've been her due date, and she's built a nest in the pet carrier I put in her enclosure as a hide until I could get her a replacement of the one she destroyed!😅

Last but definitely not least, let’s introduce the newest member of our herd—Nova! 🎉 This little gem is our Harlequin Holland Lop doe, born on October 16, 2023, and she’s just getting settled in, so we're still uncovering her personality.

So far, we’ve discovered that Nova is an absolute sweetheart! She’s a bit timid, which only adds to her charm. While her colors may be muted, her beauty is unmatched—she’s like a fluffy little cloud! ☁️✨

Now, here’s the exciting part: Nova isn’t just a pretty face—she’s already had beautiful kits in the past, and we’re confident that her future litters will be just as stunning! We can’t wait to see those colorful little ones in action. Keep an eye out for sweet Nova as she grows and finds her place among us. We’re thrilled to have her with us! 🐇💖

🐰 Meet the Herd: Introducing Beau! 🐰

Alright, everyone, let’s keep the introductions rolling! Next up is our stunning black Holland Lop doe, 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮 (that’s right, it’s pronounced like “Bo,” but we like to keep it fancy)! Born on March 24, 2023, this little lady is the epitome of modesty, and honestly, she’s got the kind of beauty that could stop traffic. 🚦✨

Beau has a bit of a diva streak—she adores treats (who doesn’t?), loves hanging out with her boyfriend Theo, and is BFFs with Bevyn. As for the rest of us? Well, let’s just say you’ll need to earn her affection. She’s got a selective heart, and you might find yourself doing a little dance or offering her a gourmet snack just to win her over! 😂

But don’t let her stoic demeanor fool you; Beau is sure to produce some absolutely gorgeous kits in the future! Keep your eyes peeled for what’s to come—this girl is going to be a fabulous momma! 🐇💖

As we wrap up the week, we’re excited to introduce you to the wonderful members of our herd! First up is the charming 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞—though you can call him Theo, or as my husband and kids affectionately call him, Theodorable! ☺️

Theo is our delightful Blue Holland Lop buck, born on December 10, 2023. He’s not just sweet and lovable; he has a special talent for winning hearts with his irresistible charm. Theo adores treats, relishes head pets, and thrives on the company of his humans. Of course, he also has a soft spot for his girlfriend, Beau, but we try not to take that personally! 🤭

We can’t wait to see the beautiful kits he’ll produce in the future! Stay tuned for more introductions!

Welcome to Phae's Haven Rabbitry, located in Milford, Ohio. Our rabbitry is a heartfelt tribute to a beloved pet, Phaedra, who inspired us to embark on this journey. Phaedra was more than just a pet; she was a cherished companion who brought joy to everyone around her. Known for her playful spirit and affectionate nature, she would accompany me to my boutique, captivating the hearts of children and adults alike. When she passed away unexpectedly, I felt a profound loss, but I also discovered a calling.
Many people admired Phaedra and inquired about where they could find a rabbit like her. Thus, Phae's Haven Rabbitry was born, with the mission of breeding Holland Lops that embody her sweet personality and charm. Through our rabbits, we aim to carry on Phaedra's legacy and share the joy she brought into my life.
As a new rabbitry, we may not yet have achievements or awards, but we are deeply committed to responsible breeding practices and the well-being of our rabbits. Our focus is on nurturing each kit's unique personality, watching them grow, and helping them develop into loving companions.
At Phae's Haven, our future goals revolve around bringing out the best in our rabbits and ensuring they find loving homes where they can thrive. We believe that every rabbit deserves a chance to experience the joy and love that Phaedra gave to us.
