Meet Roberta, a 7-year-old English Setter rescued from Greece. Years of running free left her teeth with wear and tear, and a lot of tartar. She never had a dental exam or cleaning, so we knew it was time to give her the care she needed.

Dental pain in pets can be hard to spot, but if your pet is showing any of these signs, they may need a dental exam:

🤤 Excessive drooling
✋ Pawing at their mouth
🐾 Change in chewing behavior
🍖 Dropping food while chewing
😖 Avoiding having their face or mouth touched
🍽️ Not interested in dry food or hard treats

Bad breath, loose teeth, and bleeding of the gums are also signals of dental disease.

If you notice any of these signs, it’s time for a dental exam to keep your pet's mouth healthy and pain-free.

*Posted with owner’s permission* We had a young golden retriever in for a ROUTINE dental cleaning and look at what was under all that plaque. A fracture that exposed the pulp of the tooth!!! Ouch! These injuries are painful and can lead to serious infections. Luckily, we found it, and he won’t be hurting anymore. ❤️🐶 Next month is dental month! So, dental cleanings are 10% off.
