🐾🐾❤️A man's best friendly reminder. We require our Canine guests to be vaccinated for Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Bordetella, and Influenza. Our feline guests should be vaccinated for Rabies, Chlamydia, and Leukemia. If you don't enjoy the headache of taking your baby to the vet for vaccinations, you're in luck because Nelly's Pet Resort offers transportation from our facility to a vet of your choice. If they are boarding with us, we will bring them back to finish their stay after they have been vaccinated. ❤️🐾🐾

Nelly's Pet Resort wishes you a Merry Christmas! We will be closing at 12pm on December 24th for Christmas Eve, and we will be Closed ALL Day to the public on Christmas Day, December 25th. Our staff will still be caring for our guests during the Holidays.... but we will not be accepting drop off or pickups outside of our holiday hours.

♥️ Final Extension before this light is extinguished. She has so much unconditional love left to give. Please share and if you know anyone looking for an Angel in their home. Marguerite is the heavenly creature they didn’t know they needed!

‼️911 - 911 - URGENT MEDICAL CASE‼️

FINAL EXTENSION GIVEN UNTIL MONDAY, DECEMBER 9TH!!

MARGUERITE IS EXTREMELY URGENT as there have been ZERO INQUIRIES for her!!

475 in pledges, PLUS her mammary mass removal surgery, rabies and spay have already been taken care of by Friends of BCAS!!

Marguerite came to the shelter extremely emaciated with saggy b***s and a ruptured mammary tumor on her abdomen. As a mama dog who has been used and thrown away like trash, she clearly hasn't been properly cared for in a long time, but she holds no grudges and is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet!!

She is currently in recovery at one of our vet partners after receiving the removal surgery she so desperately needed. However, Marguerite has been given a FINAL extension and must find a rescue or adopter by Monday at the the latest.

Marguerite is a bigger girl, likely an American/Olde English Bulldog mix who should be about an 80 pounds at a healthy weight. She is believed to be 5-7 years old and she is good with other dogs, male or female. She doesn't really want to play, she just wants to walk around and enjoy the sights and smells, but she isn't bothered by other dogs coming up to her or running around while she's relaxing. She walks on a leash like a dream and enjoys riding in the car!

Please understand that until someone steps up for her, she is the property of Baldwin County Animal Shelter and will have to be returned to them from the vet clinic on Monday.

I'm uncertain whether it's possible to exhaust Daisy (the yellow lab), but I'm aware that Daisy can wear out her friends! She provides invaluable assistance at Nelly's Pet Resort! She ensures our guests sleep soundly at night 😉. The Pointer is Milly, the dog with the leash is Lucky, Grace is the Black Tux Pit mix and she is another baby that helps us exercise our guests.

Bobo is here for a groom. Rosie was curious about him for a minute but decided her bed is a comfy place to rest. She’s feeling cute. She may play with him later 🤩🤩

Here are some photos from the last week. We are not able to capture every moment. We always make sure that the dogs come before anything else and sometimes that means keeping our hands free for loving and playing. If you don’t see your dog, it doesn’t mean they aren’t getting attention. If you specifically ask for us to take pics, we can definitely try to get some for you. ♥️

Gizmo is used to playing with Pitbulls. He is the John Wayne of Frenchies. He hasn’t met a big dog he won’t play with….. unless they’re male of course 😂
