Christopher found 3 tiny kittens at work in a hot semi trailer last week. They are approx 6 weeks old and growing like weeds. Two little girls and a single orange boy. They will all need homes in a couple more weeks. They were quite feral when he brought them home, but they are now super social and very friendly. They will have two rounds of wormer and be on kitten food completely before they leave.

Free to indoor pet homes.

We laid our Tommy Girl to rest this evening. She was the very best girl and will leave a hippo-sized hole in our herd and in our hearts. Such a gentle soul, she was. Truly one of a kind.

Busy fall day here on the farm! Quentin Sawyer stopped by to trim toes and Gary Brashear smoothed some teeth for the hippos. It was a beautiful day to spend outside with the critters. And the turkey loved all of the visits.

Christopher’s first trail ride was wonderful! We took out Mr. Gray and Tommy, and they really enjoyed the afternoon. And Chris was a rockstar, even in saddle. It was a wonderful day, really!

ISO standard donkey Jenny. Nothing wild or mean. To be a companion for another donkey. Needs to stand for farrier and be halter trained, or be trainable.

Looking to trade a breeding/ milking herd of mini lamancha. Several to choose from to be an equal trade. All are tame, have been hand milked and are between 1.5 and 3 years. One full sized alpine doe can also be considered.

These two! Tommy Girl and Bud have bonded so tightly. This photo makes me cry.

Tommy Girl has an incurable and aggressive cancer. We have worked closely with our very wonderful vet, and have done everything that we are able to. This Fall will be our last season with this big, gentle redhead and none of us are ready to say goodbye. She has given the world many beautiful babies, and has given me many unforgettable moments. I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve promised her that she will not suffer, so we will spend the next month or two spoiling her completely rotten, and cherishing every memory made. She is irreplaceable and truly one of the rare gems.

Bud and Steve the donk have grown especially close to her, and Bud has kept her very close lately. The boys are gentle and protective and so very sweet on her.

But for now, we make memories! ❤️

For those of you keeping up with Mr. Dorian Gray’s glow up, here are updates from today! He’s just blossoming, and I couldn’t be happier! I love this dude. He’s coming out of his shell, nickering for attention and treats, and laying down to sleep regularly now. Big steps!
