My client’s 3 yr old granddaughter Madison lent me her little baby to keep Molly company while she got groomed so I took the opportunity to groom them both! Thanks for coming to Wüf+Miao Molly and Nellie the stuffy!

Professional beggars this crew! I was snacking on some chicken salad until their Dad arrived to pick up and I had everyone’s FULL attention 🤣🤣🤣

This wonderful family has a Top Gun theme going so meet Goose the Golden Retriever and Ice Man the Frenchie! How cool is that! (And then there’s my little potato all the way to the left - Ribbit the Norwich Terrier) ❤️❤️

Lonnie the Standard Poodle came for his usual spa treatment today! His mom and I discussed trying new looks and she wanted to try the short ears and tail associated with the German Trim on poodles. And without much arm twisting needed, she also agreed to my suggestion to grow in a goatee! It’s only about an inch long after three grooming sessions but coming in nicely! Thanks for coming to Wüf+Miao, Lonnie!

Before and after on Toby the Yorkie! Toby was already a cutie pie but just needed a few tweaks to bring out his best: starting with taking quite a bit off of his jowls to bring back a more youthful look and eliminate heaviness. I also tipped his ears to make them appear smaller and I’ll be growing in the hair that was shaved over his nose at a previous salon for a softer look that won’t spike up in between groomings. A medium length trim on the body was finished off with large, rounded slipper feet for cuteness. I hope you all like his new look!

I’ve told you about “Groomer’s Choice” where the client leaves the style up to me but there’s also “Parent’s Choice” where the client has a specific vision for me to fulfill and in Ellie’s case her mom’s vision was 🫶🏻! Before and after on Boujee! She got a complete trans-fur-mation! She was recently spayed and the recovery took a toll on her style but I was able to get her glamour back! Thank you for coming to Wüf+Miao, Boujee!

I love Groomer’s choice! What is groomers choice you ask? It’s when the client tells me to trim their dog in the style I think suits best!

First order of business - I wanted to give the illusion of volume to Luca’s topknot by trimming it short so that it stands up better.

Then a tight jacket to make the puffy legs pop more and to lessen the amount of brushing necessary at home.

Lastly, some short beveled ears to make them appear fuller and complete the teddy bear look!

Before and after on Leila! Leila’s dad wanted a teddy bear style face so the first step was to take the height of her topknot down so it wasn’t so overpowering. Next, I took considerable weight off of her muzzle area and trimmed it round for a more youthful presentation and to help keep it cleaner when she eats and drinks. Lastly, I beveled her ears, making them appear fuller. The length of her muzzle and her ears before were drawing the eye downward and elongating her face, but now she looks young and playful!
