It’s Ginger Cat Appreciation Day!

Boy oh boy do I appreciate my Edgar (Boza Boza Man)! I know he looks grumpy, but he’s the sweetest baby and one of the friendliest cats I have ever met. I brought him home when my daughter was 3 years old and he allowed that child to do anything to him. He’s an indoor/outdoor cat and he loves visiting all of our neighbors. He’ll sit with anxious grooming dogs who need a little comforting support. He goes with us for walks around the cemetery and he goes with the family next door for their walks as well. He stands his ground with big dogs and I’ve watched two Cane Corsos and a Doberman actually run away from him. He loves sleeping with the baby and laying on the boppy while I nurse. He’s also an exceptional exterminator, haha, he’s brought us mice to blue jays to squirrels to snakes!

The first cat I was allowed to choose myself was a handsome ginger boy and I have loved orange males ever since! There was Garfield, Tigger, and now Edgar. They are full of s***k and love. They’re basically dogs shaped like cats!
