I’m so excited to see everyone back at lessons this week! Please bear in mind that we are getting some real winter like weather this week.

That being said here are some tips for cold weather riding:

🥶 It’s cold….. I know, I’m cold too. There’s nothing I can do about it.

🥶 Layers are your best friend! It’s cold when you start, but once you get to moving, you’ll warm up.

🥶 Gloves!!!!! Get yourself a good pair of thin but warm gloves. You need your hands to ride!

🥶 Stay hydrated! Just because it’s cold out, doesn’t mean you don’t need to drink water.

🥶 The horses are spicy in the cold, which means everyone will get a chance or 2 to learn how to lunge our furry dragons.

🥶 If you or your kiddo are sick, kindly stay home. We will work out makeups. If your kiddo has had a fever or thrown up 24 hours or less from the time of their lesson, they will not be allowed to ride. It’s for their safety as well as mine.

BLPH will be back in action on Monday January 6, 2025!!!! And there are a few updates!

In the coming weeks I will be reaching out to my tuition students first to get them back on rotation.

Please bear in mind that we are in that wonderful time of year where it gets dark by 5:00pm. So we will be combining lessons and having group lessons.

Also, there will be a slight price increase in lessons. Tuition based lessons will increase to $230 for the month. If you are not tuition based, the lessons go up to $65/hr lesson and $40/mini lesson.

We appreciate your understanding in these changes.

BLPH would like to congratulate the Hamilton family on their purchase of Teddy. Merry Christmas 🎄. We’re so excited to have Mr Teddy join our barn family. Thank you Erin Akers with EA Equestrian for a smooth purchasing process.

Can’t wait to start working with these 2 cuties together. ☺️

Blue Line Performance Horses will have a few group lesson openings starting 01/06/25! Let this year be the year you or your kiddo finds a new hobby!

Lesson availability as follows:

Wednesdays 3:00pm to 4:00pm- 3 openings for beginner riders

Thursdays 4:00pm to 5:00pm- 2 openings for beginner riders

Lessons are $230 per month. These are beginner lessons so there is zero experience required. Minimum age requirement is 6 years old.
