Everyone always says “why do you do whag you do? Why did you have so many animals!?”.. this is why. 1.) Aurora- she was shot and ran over. Couldnt walk. I had to carry her out every couple of hours to take her potty. Syringe feed her. By the end of her journey she was running and jumping and playing. She was adopted out through a rescue. 2.) Briar Rose- she was found after being on the run after 2 years. I had to take her to the vet every other day for fluids and weigh checks. I had to flip her every 2 hours so bedsores wouldnt happen. She too was syringe fed. Sadly Briar succumbed to her condition. She was ate up with cancer etc. 3.) Caleb aka Pooh Bear. He was brought into me to be groomed. After accessing the condition his little body was in. I takked the owners into surrendering him. He had maggots eating away at him. I got him cleaned up and took him home where he lived the rest of his days as part of our family. 4.) Gracie- a dog that was on the run. That i took part in getting her groomed. She took me FOUR hiurs of just shaving to find her little face under there. Her owners were very elderly. No help. I stepped in to help where I could. 5.) Otis aka Tanter.who was found in an apartment left with who knows how long with a muzzle on his face. He was BARELY 40lbs. He was the SWEETEST baby. We tried everything forever to save him and get him to gain to weight. Sadly his kidneys were too far gone and he crossed the rainbow bridge. 6.) Minnie. She was found after being dumped with a prolapsed anas. She has been through hell. No family left alone on the streets. After a surgery on her bum she still was having issues. We justs rolled with the punches and tried our hardest to safe her. The doodle in the video was a clients baby whi was SEVERELY matted due to be unkept. Her owner had cancer. She has since been on a schedule and kept up with. The rest are reptiles and small farm animals over the years i have taken and rehabilitated. This doesnt even scratch the sur
This little girl was left in the bed of a truck in a crate for over 5 hours today! She was then surrendered to the shelter where she got treated for fleas, vaccinated, and then straight to the groom shop where I gave her a few good soaks, and a good cut! She has found a FurEvER home as of today. Sweet little girl needs a LOT of TLC, but with time she’ll get there. 🩷🩵 #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #doggrooming #poodle

Meet Marley. The sweetest of sweet old men doodles. He’s 13 years old! He got tired during his bath, so we made do. He got to lay down during his scrubs! Today he got a good first bath with a Apricot & Chamomile scrub, then we followed with a deep clean shampoo that had an all natural ingredients in it, along with a fruit loop facial scrub (pictured with Marley below), and then we finished with a blueberry clove sugar scrub all over him! It had real blueberries in it and it helps with dry skin especially in places like the elbows, armpits, and tuck up areas. After that we finished with a mixture of conditioners to help with different things! He then used a happy hoodie to help drown out the noise of the dryer since he’s so old.. I didn’t know what he be scared of and what could make him nervous with. We then of course got our groom! Definitely took some breaks to give his old body some resting time. Hi my name is courtenay, and I own Fur-get Me Knots grooming by Courtenay LLC in Milton! I specialize in unruly, older/geriatric, and or “high anxiety” dogs. Here’s some befores and afters of a few dogs I’ve done lately! Between matting and desheds.. I would love to help your babies feel better. No judgment on my part will be made as I can help you maintain a good schedule along with advice to keep your baby looking good and feel comfortable. I price by breed, coat, and weight so a price can be given via a “quote” through messaging me etc and we can start off there. As an estimate which can subject to change depending condition of the dog and weight:• Small breeds (shih tzus, yorkies, mini schnauzers, Lhasas, etc): $65-$75 for haircuts. • medium breeds (mini doodles on the medium size, bigger shih tzus, stands schnauzers, etc.) $75-$85 for haircuts • large breeds (doodles, standard poodles etc) $120 for haircuts Dogs that get clean face clean feet (poodle face and poodle feet) the price will be a bit more depending on size of dogs etc. Dogs that have fleas there’s an extra $10-$20 for the bath on top of the regular bath depending on extent of the fleas. I do NOT accept infestations as it a danger to the other pets in the building. If you have a question regarding that you can privately message me. Dogs that come in matted depending on the severity of the matting the price can go up. I will let you know that upon drop off etc. Bath dogs quotes: Small breeds: $45-$55 Medium breeds: $65-$75Large breeds: $85-95 XL breeds: $95-$110 Desheds like the one(s) pictured below will be more given the extant of the work and time put in. That can also be discussed. I also offer just nail trim and grinds which are $20/per dog or cat. (If your put requires two people the nail trim will require a handling fee of $10 which will be given to the groomer who’s had to stop during their work day to assist).
