**We reserve the right to refuse the sale/placement of any puppy, for any reason, to any person at any stage prior to the actual delivery or pickup of the puppy. if you have put a nonrefundable deposit of $500 down this would be a time we would refund you that money. The nonrefundable deposit is refunded ONLY IF the seller cancels OR IF someo
ne else had been chose for the adoption.
****Puppy deposit of $500 is required for all puppies unless arranged in writing with seller. This is Non-Refundable unless sale is canceled or application not approved BY the seller. This is the only option to hold your puppy and can be done prior to the completion of the application. If the application is not accepted by the seller the deposit will be refunded the entire amount minus any PayPal fees that may have incurred. In the event we get multiple deposits, on the same puppy, we will process in the order received and continue to process the applications until a good fit has been identified through the process. This can take some days so please be patient. It is so important to match the right pup with the right home. Again, this can take some time so please be patient for a response on application (it could take 7 to 10 days to hear back if approved or it could be quite quick). I am also a Registered Nurse helping out with COVID-19 triage. My shifts can be very long and can switch from days to overnights and bsck...

Mighty Myth Busting
by Pitter Patter Puppy Friends!
Oddly enough I want to thank a "troll" on my page.
I'll get right to the point!
Myth #1.
All mixed breed dogs are "mutts"! They're not like a AKC Registered dog which is of just 1 breed!
MYTH BUST
Most if not all "purebred" dogs Registered by the AKC are a mix of at least 2 different breeds.
So, what makes a "purebred"?
Dogs can possibly become recognized and accepted into a "purebred" status by the AKC after meeting and following certain steps including but not limited to the following:
For the AKC to recognize a new breed, there must be lineage of at least 3 generations documented in certified pedigrees with an approximate minimum of 150 individual dogs that breed true to the standards. Also, the AKC will not allow a new purebred breed to become recognized by them if the new dog breed the result of breeding 2 already existing AKC recognized purebred dogs together.
For example a F1 Havapoo (Registered Havanese bred to a Registered Miniature Poodle could never become a recognized purebred dog breed by the AKC.
Therefore, to even be considered for purebred recognition the dog presenting must be at least an F2 Havapoo (registered Havapoo bred to registered Havapoo) and the parents must have DOCUMENTED Pedigrees showing their true lineage in a legitimate stud book such as the AKC stud book.
That is just one of the many reasons why I am very, very fond of the F2 Havapoo and I strive to genetically produce the finest Havapoo's in the USA.
Unfortunately, all too often many individuals and many uneducated breeders are very misguided when breeding and when choosing a Havapoo.
If you are serious and want the amazing characteristics of a true Havapoo please choose your breeder wisely.
Insist the parents are registered with the ACHClub. The ACHClub, like the AKC, is the only designer breed registry that requires multi generational documented lineage from certified pedigrees before ever allowing the dog to become registered. There strict requirements are unlike the APRI and other mixed and breed registration clubs. Many will register a designer by merely paying a fee, sending a photo and/or saying "testifying" the dog is the mix of what they want it registered as.
To me this is unethical and ruled by greed vs the love of a genetically healthy designer which is created by careful genetic selective selection to pull the desired attributes of the 2 breeds to consistently produce a high quality designer breed.
Pitter Patter Puppy Friends will only allow dogs into our breeding program that are registered through the ACHClub or the AKC.
I love this designer, and therfore, we are very selective with our requirements for any breeding.
Please be careful of the non-registered (ACHClub) Havapoo breeders.
Often many of these individuals try to make $ at the expense of this beautiful designer breed. Charging a bit less than the authentic Havapoo.
They often rely on customers to merely take their word. Sadly, many individuals can not tell the difference between a Havapoo and other mix breed small house dogs that look similar.
Unfortunately, they often end up with/without characteristics that are not or are not of a Havapoo.
This to me is an all to common example of irresponsible and unethical breeding practices.
Wether you get your beautiful Havapoo from me or from another breeder I encourage you to be selective and careful when choosing your breeder.
Proof of ACHClub Registration & Genetic testing of Parents should be a must.
It may cost you more upfront, but, you will know exactly what you are getting and you most likely will save not only money but future heartache down the road.

Why is ACHClub registration so important?
Answer:
The ACHClub was "Established in 1969 the American Canine Hybrid Club. They recognize all hybrids produced from purebred ancestry, preferably registered with a recognized registration service."
Such as the AKC.
"Just like a purebred club, the purpose of the ACHClub is to keep track of parentage and ancestry of these hybrid dogs. If you buy an ACHClub-registered dog, you will know exactly what breeds are in your dog."
Unfortunately, many designer/hybrid registry clubs offer registeration by mere fee, pictures and attesting statements from the applicant. Not very convincing and has given opportunity to back yard breeders and puppy mills to financially benefit.
This practice is an absolute disservice to all designer-hybrid dogs. This can destroy the designers reputation. Often these breeders produce look a likes that lack the unique and beautiful characteristics of the true Havapoo. This can lead to many different issues including feeling "taken", discovering other issues including genetic problems that later show up and affect the health and life of your precious pet. This can not only be heartbreaking to watch but very costly.
Please remember authenticity through confirmed generational pedigree of both parents from a ethical breeder may be a bit more up front for cost but can easily save huge amounts of heartache and expenses down the road.

After those who have already been pre-approved and have placed their down-paymen/ hold funds will start picking last week of April.
We will then post individual pictures of each puppy available.
How to reserve and be placed on the waiting list:
1. Send your name, contact information along, request for an application along with preference of male or female. Also indicate if your preferred gender isn't available if you would still want the available gender.
2. Make an initial partial nonrefundable deposit in the amount of $200 of the $500 required.
The remainder of the deposit will be due at the time when you choose which puppy you want.
Please remember the pups are first come, first serve to approved applicants. Placing a partial prepayment of $200 does not gaurentee that you will get one.
It does put you on our call/notify list in the order we receive the application back.
If a pup is available at that time you will then be able to pick one once the remainder of the deposit is placed via PayPal.
If a pup is not available a complete refund will be granted via PayPal (minus any fees from PayPal if applicable ie: not completed through the friends and family option).
Picks are on a first come, first served basis for all applicants who have been application approved.
Please note that unless a puppy is not available or your application is not approved by Pitter Patter Puppy Friends all deposits are not refundable.
3. If a puppy is available and you wish to adopt you will need to then state which pup you want and pay the remainder $300 of the down payment via PayPal.
It's at this time you will need to decide if you will be traveling to MN to pick your puppy up or if you need personal delivery to your nearest major airport. I can tell you that it is more cost efficient if you pickup at our home or at MSP Airport.
Depending upon which airport you need for delivery and the timing can greatly influence the price for delivery.
Auto delivery options: up to 200 miles from our home meet/deliver in person.
Fee: $300
Delivery to MSP or RST Airport $150.
Delivery via direct flight with the puppy on board and attended by us at all times. Hand delivery and any preflight veterinarian health certification included. Prices vary greatly from $600-$1200 typically.
All delivery options must be pre-approved. They are subject to our availability and schedule.
Final cash payment due at time of pick-up/delivery minus the $500 deposit.
All pups are $3750. This includes a 3 year genetic health written gaurentee; written letter of health from veterinarian; current vaccinations/dewormings/Nexgard flea/tick prevention; toy, puppy blanky with scent from mom/litter, finger toothbrush, pet food sample and (upon written request) AKC registration papers with limited registration on a spay/neuter contract.
If you are seeking Full AKC Registration with breeding rights a separate application and adoption policies are required for those who practice ethical breeding practices. Adoption fee is also different. Please inquire.
Lifetime take back policy for the pup to help prevent dogs ending up in shelters.
Options to purchase other items including snuggle heart beat puppy pals, auto seat belt safety restraint, potty pads, bully sticks, baby book with a few various pictures of the pup prior to going home and plenty room to add through the years.
We reserve the right to refuse adopting for any reason whatsoever including our decision on whether the puppy will be a "good match or fit". This policy and right is valid up until the puppy leaves our home and enters yours. If we back out of the adoption process for reasons of the placement not being a "good match or fit" we will refund your deposit in full minus any PayPal fees that incur.
Remember a puppy is a lifetime commitment. They take tons of live, care, time, patience and training. They can cry at night, have accidents, chew on items, make messes and cost money to keep and care for.
If you are not able to provide these things at this time please reconsider.
If you are not able to afford a puppy at the cost please consider adoption through rescue groups, shelters or such.
If you are unable to afford the cost of delivery please consider picking your pup up at our home or our local airport delivery option.
If you are concerned about future veterinarian costs please consider accident and health insurance policies now before any accident or illness as they are affordable options for healthy puos/dogs that can cut future expenses.
